Beauty WeekendHi everyone,

Between the Beauty Bash and Beauty Weekend I've popped by to tell you about some exciting new launches coming up this weekend! It's all about refreshing your beauty routine, trying some brand new products (which some of you may have seen previewed at the Beauty Bash) and snapping up TSV offers from Decleor and Tria.

What's new this weekend?

Just one of our new brands is Taya, a unique haircare range made from locally grown super-botanicals which are combined in never-seen-before combinations. Ingredients such as Brazillian Acai Berry, Buriti Oil and the Durabundi Nut.

We've got two hours of Taya on Saturday at 12pm and 6pm and expect gorgeous products from hair masks and styling products to volumizing must-haves and a great value discovery kit.

Next I'd just like to highlight new skincare brand Radical with its premier show at 1pm on Sunday with yours truly. Radical is a high-performance skincare solution with a simple daily regime designed to help you fight the signs of ageing. It's all about radical results and nothing less.

Cassie Steer, Beauty and Style Editor of Marie Claire UK says, of her favourite item in the range: "I love the exfoliating pads – my skin has never looked so good – I'm hooked!."

Our THIRD exciting new brand launching is Josie Maran on Sunday at 3pm! You may have seen, and tried, the Argan Oil before but now we're bringing you much more from this actress and supermodel who believes in beauty you can feel good about using. On Sunday we'll be showcasing her Argan Oil Hair Serum, Infinity Cream, Body Butter Duo and more.

Dear Alison Thank to both yourself and the rest of the team for giving us such a wonderful afternoon on Thursday. I have taken your advice about the Bobbie Brown retouching powder and it makes such a difference to the redness and covers some broken veins.

Back from the QVC spectacular beauty bash , loved it , thanks so much for a great time. I have discovered so many more products to try and buy.
I was lucky enough to get a sample of the new range of hair product Taya , I’ve tried it this morning, I cannot believe just one very small application could of made such a difference, my highlighted hair instantly transformed , shiny and healthy looking, I’m hooked and have just ordered more from this mornings show. Also looking forward to seeing Harris Miller perfumes, the new ones coming to air are so sophisticated and different , can’t wait to order .
Also looking forward to being able to purchase new OPI base for sand and glitter nail varnish , I must have it!!
So I can happily predict I’m going to keep on spending , I’m a very happy customer and your value and ranges, advise and product knowledge inspiring. Thank you all.
I’d love to be a product tester please …

Great to see Imedeen on QVC Ali. It’s another of my beauty secrets (besides Elemis of course). I’ve taken Imedeen for around 20 years! Really pleased to see beauty supplements on …. bring us more of the best please. I was gutted not to receive any Beauty Bash tickets this year (greedy I know as I’ve been for four out of the last six years!) Looks like everyone had a fabulous time as usual. Really, really gutted to have missed John Barrowman! Fingers crossed for next year.
    Love
    Marian

    Hi Alison,
I’m 27, with slightly oily/combination skin mainly in my t-zone but I can also be prone to dryness and slight sensitivity. I have suffered with moderate acne since I was about 13, which I finally managed to get under control after several difficult years of trying various creams and lotions from the doctor and high street. I now take a mild antibiotic tablet (oxytetracycline) and use an over the counter acne cream, that I use every evening or every other evening, called (quinoderm10 which contains benzoyl peroxide and potassium hydroxyquinoline sulphate).
Since using the combination of the antibiotic and cream for the past 10 months my skin has cleared up completely apart from the occasional spot, which seems to disappear much quicker than they used to, and not lead to a complete breakout. I have red hair and freckles and very fair skin. Due to the acne I suffered as a teenager my skin has been left with some scaring on my chin and a few slightly ‘pitted’ marks.
I am very keen to keep my skin in good condition as it has taken me so long to finally get my acne under control, which I was convinced would stay with me forever, as nothing seemed to work and it had made me very self conscious.
I think that the Decleor products look amazing, and having tried a few sample sizes and heard such wonderful reviews from the aromessance oil and gel prolagene and how good they are for helping with marked and scared skin. I would really like to have a complete and thorough skin care routine in this range, (cleanse, tone, moisturise, exfoliate, masks, everything!) I would love your expert advice and knowlege on what products to use.
I have tried the cleanser and toner for oily skins, but I found it a little too drying, as most face washes leave me with a ‘tight’ feeling on my skin straight afterwards. I did like the oxygenating shine control moisturiser, but I am happy to try anything you reccomend.
Thank you so much in advance, I love QVC and I always tune in when ever your on the air, you’re amazing Ali!!
    Love Louise xxx

    Hi Alison
First of all let me say how much I enjoy your shows which I find both informative and helpful. I am 53 and going through the menopause. To be fair I have been fortunate to have had quite good skin. However the last two years I have had issues with sensitivity and reactions which have caused uncomfortable bouts of eczema. This is probably due to hormonal changes. I use Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and the Skin Tonic (which I cannot be without) and Liz Earle Moisturiser for Dry/Sensitive. I also alternate my moisturiser with Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream and recently I have tried L’Occitane’s Divine cream which as the name suggests is absolutely divine. The problem I have is that the last 18 months I have developed small sebaceous lumps on my eyelids which I believe are called Millia? and I wondered if there was anything I could use to eliminate them? Because my eye area is ultra sensitive I am always wary about trying new products. Can you recommend a remedy? I use BareMinerals make-up which is always comfortable on my skin. My daughter will be getting married in September and I would like my skin to be back in tip top condition for her big day.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received
    Many Thanks
    Karen x
