Beauty Pick of the Month kicks off with Ojon

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment PlusWhat is Beauty Pick of the Month I hear you say? Well each month we'll be treating you to a top beauty product available with free P&P! And we're kicking off with Ojon's Restorative Hair Treatment Plus.

It's a new and improved version of the popular haircare must-have, and has been designed to make it easier to apply thanks to its lighter texture.

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment PlusYou'll also notice it's clear in colour, as it has gone through a double purification system giving you a purer formula.

For those of you who didn't like the fragrance of the original formula, Ojon have listened to your feedback and the scent has now been neutralised – so more of you will now love to use it.

We decided to start this brand new promotion with Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment Plus, as it's crucial to pay attention to you hair in the winter months. This particular size will give you between three and six months supply of this weekly intensive hair treatment.

There are several different ways you can use it…

Weekly treatment:
Apply the clear balm to dry hair and leave it for 20 minutes so that it can deeply penetrate each strand, then shampoo as normal. Or you can leave it on overnight for a more intense treatment. If your hair feels heavy and greasy, you've put far too much on.

One thing to note when you shampoo, your hair will feel slightly different when wet but you'll reap the benefits once you blow dry – you'll have glossy, voluminous and silky soft locks.

Targeted areas:
If you've got any weak or breaking areas where you fiddle with your hair – maybe at the temples or the ends – then just a couple of times a week, melt a tiny amount (finger nail-size) of the balm between your fingers and press it into those weakened areas before shampooing.

For styling:
You can melt a tiny amount into the palms of your hands and scrunch it into your hair and use it as a styling product. It'll help to prevent your hair from drying out – perfect for dry, textured, coarse hair.

Do not use Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment Plus up to a week before you have any chemical treatments, such as colour, relaxing etc, and even one week after. The oils penetrate the hair shaft and will stop any chemical treatments from working.

Love this month's beauty pick? Make sure you check back next month for a new and exciting offer.

Thank you for the tips re colouring, I have always used the restorative treatment before colouring. This explains why my roots always come through so quickly and the colour fade even with colour safe shampoo and conditioner.

I love the old formula nothing beats it in my opinion and I find the smell divine, but I am happy that those put off enough by the smell and could not use it will finally do so!

Looking forward to trying the new formula as had to stop using the old one as the yellow colour would stain my light blonde hair. I have been waiting for so long for a clear version as the effect on the damage of my hair was always amazing!
    Thanks QVC & OJON X

I would love to try this product but am very nervous about doing so as I have light blond coloured hair. I should be very grateful to hear from someone who has used the product who also has blond coloured hair.
Fingers crossed – looking forward to trying it!
    Thank you.

I am big fan of the original Ojon treatment and I am keen to understand the full lsit of all ingredients for the new improved version. The all natural formula suited me just fine, but I am wondering of the ‘improved version is still all natural. I understand that Ojon has been bought by Estee Lauder and as part of a big corporate, I am not assuming that the ethos of doing things (natural, traditional, potent, no fillers) will remain – maybe on the level of the ‘brand’ but maybe not behind the scenes.
I had also ordered one of the new range of Shampoo & Conditioners and was disappointed, luckily we can send it back, so not much of a problem. I had also emailed QVC customer services and had asked for details about what the ‘changes/improvement’ entailed, ingredient-wise, but never heard back.
I am also sort of expecting Estee Lauder to keep growing the business by stretching the limited Ojon oil and wanting to sell more and more (that is what big corporates do, after all).
I would love to know the full ingredients to the Ojon Treatment Plus and also in what way any of the formulas have changed/improved across the board, i.e. by bringing in new preservatives or changing to % of Ojon oil used etc.
    Many thanks !

I have the old formula and love it so can not wait to purchase this new one. A tip I would say is that I need to do a double shampoo to get the product fully out, especially if i have done a long intense treatment by keeping it on for a few hours. The results are amazing. Looking forward to purchasing this new one now :-) Thanks QVC and OJON xx

I used to use all Ojon products, but a year ago after using a new bottle of the volume shampoo and conditioner I started to get itchy and scaly inner ear problems. I saw my doctor and he diagnosed excema, so now I have had to give my stash away. Really disapponted because I loved Ojon, but can’t risk it coming back. I now use PK and have no problems

I had always used Ojon products and loved them but a while ago started to get itchy ears diagnosed by my Doctor as excema. Didn’t click that it was Ojon until I went on holiday and took some different shampoo. The excema which drove me nuts for about 18 months cleared. I use a different shampoo now and everything is fine. I tried some Ojon treatment overnight a few days ago and the itching came back with a vengeance. It’s such a shame as the range made a real difference to the quality of my hair but I simply cannot put up with the itching. It’s a shame they changed the formulation!
