The Beauty Insider Blog: hi-tech skincare and a fab Caudalie collection

1

This week on our Beauty Insider show, we’ve got a selection of hi-tech skincare devices, great gifting ideas, and a gorgeous collection from Caudalie.

Today’s Special Value from Beauty Bioscience

The GloPro from Beauty Bioscience is a home device that mimics the needling achieved in the very popular salon treatment, which is used because it’s more invasive than topical application products, and therefore may have a more stimulating effect. When you use it, you’ll definitely see and feel an immediate result, and if you want a glowier, plumped-up, revitalised look to your skin, this is definitely for you.

It must be used on perfectly clean skin, as you don’t want the device to get clogged up. Clean the device after each use, and I wouldn’t recommend this for high-coloured, blemish-prone or sensitive complexions. Normal-combination-dry skin wanting a fresher bloom to re-energise their look will love this.

A hi-tech hero

Another at-home device that I’ve really been enjoying recently, is the Tria Age Defying Skin Laser. This uses extremely advanced technology that comes from the dermatological and medical side of the beauty industry, and uses fractionated lasers to help revitalise the look of your skin.

When I first tested this a couple of years ago, I had lots of people asking me what treatments I’d ‘had done’, because of the effects. Due to the fact that it penetrates deeper than a cream, it has the ability to (with continued use) completely change the look of skin. However, results are gradual, and you need to commit to using this.

Specifically, it works on helping to improve your complexion above and beyond the ability of your normal creams and treatments, and helps with lines, wrinkles and discolouration. This is a great device for anyone looking for more results, who’s already on a top quality skincare regime.

Love bold brows? Try this…

Just for today, we’ve got a great offer on the Bardou Brow Booster, which comes in four great shades. This free-from brow formula acts like a semi-permanent tint, with fibres that cling to your brows and last for many days. My top tip is to avoid cleansing and exfoliating directly over the brow, if you want it to last longer. It’s great to apply after your at-home facial on clean dry brows, after you’ve done your weekly facial. This helps you achieve 24-hour brows, and you can apply this as often as needed.

Caudalie skincare treats

This four-piece skincare collection from Caudalie is great for helping to recover the look of your skin from visible signs of sun damage like darker marks and discolouration, as in the winter months with less intensity from the sun, it’s the perfect time to work to correct summer damage.

If you want to perfect your skin now before spring, this collection is fabulous for helping you along the way. This also contains the Beauty Elixir, renowned for being a great make-up artist secret, as it preps skin, seals make-up, refreshes tired complexions and can also help to temporarily firm the look of your skin. A must-have for your handbag or desk drawer!
