Beauty Around the Building – Part 3

3

If you’ve been enjoying my recent mission where I take to the QVC building armed with my beauty trolley, to give staff makeovers at their desks, then read on for the third installment.

This week I met Amirah, the social media assistant, who keeps QVC’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages up to date as well as helping some of the presenters with their blogs (unfortunately, she has to suffer working with some of the others but not with me!).

Amirah (20s)

Amirah was my most fun makeover to do as she normally wears very little make up for work and her key concern was to get coverage for spots and breakouts, which allowed me to apply a full face of make-up and introduce her to some of our fantastic brands as well as tips and techniques that will really help her.

She has fantastic hair and I definitely saw a more glamourous person hiding in there. I used  Laura Geller, Tarte and Mally to create smooth, even coverage, as well as some techniques you won’t have heard of on the high street, to give Amirah a makeover that she, all of her work mates and her mum loved. I hope you enjoy it too.

Alison always has flawless glowing skin. I love to use gatineau and decleor products, which I think are wonderful. When I wear foundation, it seems to go dry and patchy towards the end of the day, any suggestions?

Hi Alison, I have enjoyed watching the makeovers that you have been doing, I would love some advice on foundation please. I have vitiligo and my skin colour is now mostly light, I use factor 50 sunscreen and bare essentials faux tan on arms and legs, which I have used for years, but I am never sure about what colour foundation I should be using, very fair or what my original colour would be, would appreciate your advice thank you Julie
