The comedian Peter Kay and singing sensation Susan Boyle have joined forces for a one-off Red Nose Day single – a hilarious cover version of Tim Rice's "I Know Him So Well", originally sung by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson.

The single will sees Peter Kay performing as his alter-ego Geraldine McQueen while Susan Boyle plays herself in the hilarious one-off duet, all in the name of charity.

The special collaboration follows on from Kay's two previous runaway hits for Red Nose Day, "Is This The Way To Amarillo?" in 2005 and "I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)" in 2007.
