What products would you recommend for a very greasy skin combined with large pores, nose to mouth lines and forehead lines?

I love Gatineau been using it for 8 years and am very happy with the results. Can you ask Andrew if they will be replacing the Defi Lift Mask which was my favourite product as the results are amazing. I hope there will be something to use in its place.

Hi Im currently using your melatogenine cream cleanser followed by the new melatogenine moisturiser. What really bothers me is the lines from the edge of my mouth to chin (marionette lines??) Should I step up to defilift instead?
    Thank you

I have just started using the active eclat gommage and the flash radiance and am blown away.
This is my first time I have ever felt strongly enough to comment on products.
The difference in my skin is amazing, I will be 50 in one week’s time and am being told by everyone how amazing my skin is looking.
Instead of needing to use primer, concealer and loads of foundation, I now just need to exfoliate twice a week using the gommage and use the radiance as a primer everyday. A very light dusting of mineral foundation finishes the job.
I went for a makeup makeover last week-end at a well known brand and the makeup artist would no redo my foundation because she was adamant she could not better what I already had.
My pores are so refined now and my skin has a glow to it. Amazing!!!!!

I have been a GATINEAU GAL for over 10 years now, using cleansing cream in the morning followed by DefiLift serum, remodeling cream, and eye cream; cleanse and tone and Melatogenine and eye serum at night, (I have the new melatongenie aox). I have been using Age Benefit instead of Defi Lift but where is DEFILIFT gone? is it to be replaced or have I missed something?? Annette in Surrey

Hi, I just love Gatineau & a big thank you to QVC for stocking it. :D
I just turned 30 last Monday and really am unsure what I should be using.
At the moment I have the Serenite cleanser, as well as the Melatogenine refreshing cleansing cream, the mirodermabrasion cream and the Activ Eclat (being a smidge OCD about cleansing, I would to bathe in this but reign myself in to one a week :)
Due to the different kits I’ve bought cream wise, I have Aquamemory moisture replenish mask, firming throat gel & a 15ml defi lift 3D performance cream
I work night shifts with both hot temperatures mixed with aircon & I feel my skin is suffering Ive noticed 2 (getting ever deeper) necklace lines on my décolleté and creped skin around my panda eyes.
I find it difficult to get into a regime as I believe I have a both oily & sensitive complexion
I know this is a lot in one go but any advice would’ve much appreciated. Many thanks

I have been using the gatineau for about five years and use daily the throat gel, melatoganine eye cream and defilift lip care. However I have lost 3 1/2 stone in weight and the chin area is not as tight as I would like…what could I use to help? From Mary in westgate Kent.

Hi, my fave Gatineau products are – Volumising Lip Care, Floracil, and the anti-ageing mask mask. I want to invest in the anti-ageing Gommage too. My question is – Is Defi-lift the best moisturiser for my skin..I have a good routine (using Decleor/Elemis/Liz Earle), but have noticed over the last year or so my skin is a bit saggy around the jowels and marionette lines are deeper. I am 45, have a chronic illness so take medication and am a smoker (although not a heavy smoker)and sometimes my skin seems to need a boost. Would Defi-lift be the right one? thanks ;)

Hello. My name is Isabel and I use the full range of Gatineau. The one that I most love is Melatogenine, but I use everything.
My question is what is that I could I use inside the range for open pores, please.
    Thank You,
    Yours Sincerely,
    Isabel. Manchester.

I have been a Gatineau user since Melatogenine was introduced,I have very dry fine skin and it was the best thing since sliced bread, then Force was brought on and I used that under the Melatogenine. My skin cannot take any of the masks or gommage, but I did use the neck gel.
Last winter I was reading about dehydration rather than dry skin and why some people concentrate on one when they ahould be treating the other, that got me thinking and I decided to try Aquamemory Gel, I loved it, what a difference it has made to my skin,I use it at night with a little moisturiser over it after leaving it for about 10mins, I use it again in the morning again with my melotogenine over it, in very small amounts. It has changed the way my skin looks and I have had no problems at all,AQUAMEMORY is my new star.

    Good morning QVC and Andrew,
I love the Gatineau products, and will shortly be starting on my tan accelerator ready for my holiday at the end of August, and I love the morning after effect of sleeping in the melatogenine mask.
My question is – I am currently using the melatogenine eye, however, I have a few milia spots from a previous product – what would you recommend to get rid of these?
    Jo-Ann, 32 today! (Friday)

Hello Andrew and all the presenters,
My name is Carol and I am the wrong side of 65!! I have very dry skin and use the melotagenine
At night , and seem to get ‘roll off’ when I apply it. Am I using too much? Defilift seems better
For me in the morning. Thank you. Wish I could get my husband to use the products like you!

Hi, my name is Julia, and I’ve been using Gatineau products for around 14 years… in fact, you might call me a Gatin-addict! I turned 41 last week (ouch!), but nobody ever believes me when I tell them my age, everyone thinks I look a good ten years younger!! My absolute desert island, cannot-live-without-it product is Floracil – I hyperventilate at the thought of running out of it! I won’t use anything other than Melatogenine Refreshing Cleansing Cream to wash my face in the shower every morning, and also can’t be without Firming Throat Gel it’s amazing! You definitely have a devoted Gatineau fan in me!

Bonjour, I just want to say that I love Gatineau as my skin feels moisturised all day. Previously I have used other well know products and found that in the afternoon my skin starts to feel dry and tight. Now I live in the South of France in a hot and dry atmosphere and my skin feels moisturised all day. I love the Melatogenine range, and “younger for longer” is true. Yesterday I was waiting for a bus in 38 degree temperature, feeling hot and sticky and I was chatted up by a young guy who told me he was 35 and thought I was at the most 42 years old. Living proof that Gatineau works as I am 58 years old. Oh, and as an added bonus, Gatineau is cheaper to buy through QVC than here in France.
Keep up the good work Andrew and QVC, our skin needs you.

Hi there. I am a Gatineau girl and have been using Gatineau for many years now (as did my mother before me). Recently I decided to use a rival brand with a TSV and I found that it has “burnt” my skin just under my eyes and made my skin very sore and itcy. I have now gone back to Gatineau and will never use anything else again. The soreness is just starting to get better.
What can you suggest for me? I get red blotches on my face and have to use a lot of make up to cover it. Is there anything that can calm my skin down?
I am an avid fan of Melatogenine.
    Thanks Debbie

Hi my names emma, I’m 35 and as yet have never tried Gatineau although hopefully with a little advice will try it tonight! I’ve noticed that my skin has become much drier and lacks radiance, especially on my cheeks but also my forehead and around my eyes.I’m also seeing mote pigmentation appearing. I’d love something that would keep my skin hydrated and keep undereye lines at bay, while also tackling the pigmentation, anything else would be a bonus, thanks so much for your help, Emma x

  21. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:24 pm -  Reply

Hi Emma, the Melatogenine Futur Plus Eye Concentrate (item number: 201111) would be great to smooth the appearance of lines & wrinkles around the eye area. Also the Age Benefit Cream (200790) is brilliant at boosting radiance. Michaela x

  22. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:26 pm -  Reply

Hi Debra, I’d go back to basics, go for the sensitive option of the 3 piece salon cleanser & toner collection (200796). Also the Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Duo (219329) is a great soothing and hydrating moisturiser, which will help with the dry patches. Michaela x

  23. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:27 pm -  Reply

Hi Cathy, I’m going to recommend the Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Duo (219329) this will prevent your skin feeling dry and tight, and also keep your face hydrated all day long. Michaela x

  24. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:28 pm -  Reply

Hi Carol, yes it sounds like you are using too much, you need a tiny pea size of the Melatogenine cream and it’s best to warm it in between your finger tips before applying. Hope that helps! Michaela x

  25. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:30 pm -  Reply

Hi Joanne Rope-jones, the Collagen Under Eye Solution Set (201964) would be great for you. The collagen eye compresses are a fantastic salon treatment that we use specifically for deep lines and wrinkles around the eye area. The melatogenine future plus mask can be applied right the way up to the eye area which is also wrinkle plumping. Then you also have a months supply of the Melatogenine Future Plus Eye Concentrate, which is a QVC customer favourite. Try and use the collagen eye compresses twice a week. Michaela x

Hi Jo-Ann, without being able to see your Milia in person it’s difficult to assess the area properly. However you could try using the Active Eclat Gommage (219013) twice a week, take it right up to the eye and over the Milia, leave it until the texture turns watery and then simply rinse off. Also don’t use too much product around the eye area, especially rich products, as this can overload they eye area and aggravate Milia. Michaela x

Hi Jeanjohns, the 6 piece anti-ageing Discovery Collection (201184) would be a good place to start for you. In this kit you’ll get six of our hero products for an amazing price, including; cleansers, masks and moisturiser, basically everything you’ll need to get started. Michaela x

Hi Isabel, for open pores the DefiLIFT Perfect Design Concentrate (201811) would be great for you as it will help to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, use this everyday underneath your regular moisturiser. Michaela x

  30. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:35 pm -  Reply

Hi Jamie, you can shave using the Melatogenine Cleansing Cream (224956). Also Andrew (as well as many of my male friends) uses the Gatineau range, so give it a go. The Aquamemory range is also particularly popular with men, as it’s not too rich. Michaela x

    Hi Andrew
Love my Gatineau products especially the Melatogenine Eye Cream, Aquamemory Eye roll-on, Defi-lift lip care and so many others. I have today ordered the Melatogenine Force Collagen duo but my question is I do like to use a Decleor Aromessence under my moisturiser so how do I slot the Force Collagen into my routine? I also used to love the Defi-Lift face mask which has been discontinued will this be replaced as the results were amazing? Please keep the amazing value kits and collections coming as they enable me to use premium skincare at affordable prices with excellent results, can’t wait for the new Melatogenine Prebiotics moisturiser to launch.
    Many thanks.
    Cheryl

Hi Heidi and Mary! DefiLIFT is absolutely the route for both of your concerns. The DefiLift 3D Perfect Design Cream (225754) will help lift and firm sagging skin. Michaela x

  33. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:39 pm -  Reply

Hi Kate, the Aquamemory Eye roll-on duo (225446) is brilliant if you work in air conditioned environments and to help prevent/treat crepeyness around the eye area. Take one to work with you and keep applying it throughout the night. Michaela x

  34. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:39 pm -  Reply

Hi Annette, rest assured the DefiLIFT line is still available, you can find the range on the QVC website at http://www.qvcuk.com. Hope that helps and thank you for writing in. Michaela x

Hi Lisa, for the open pores I’d recommend the DefiLift Perfect Design Volume Concrentrate (201811). The Melatogenine Focus Pen duo (227657) is also great for intensively treating deep lines and wrinkles without overloading your oily skin. Michaela x

  36. Michaela July 20, 2012 at 8:56 pm -  Reply

Hi Cathryn, it sounds as if you need to exfoliate, the best thing for an uneven texture is the Peeling Expert duo (201955), it works deeper than normal exfoliation to help smooth the skin’s surface. Use a small amount twice a week, massage gently into the skin for two to three minutes and then rinse off. Michaela x

Hi Michaela, I have recently had a major health problems/operation and hormonal issues that have made my skin go haywire, dull and lacklustre and slightly puffy also my eyes are getting puffy with dark circles. I have normal/combination skin, with very littke lines or wrinkles and I am normally happy with the products I use (liz Earle) but need some extra help whilst I am recovering and need to “supercharge” my skin care routine. Can you recommend products please. Many thanks

Please can you advise how I can diminish acne scarring, lack of pigmentation and hyper-pigmented skin on my jaw and sides of neck? White, pinky-purple and brown. I am 52, very fair, oily but thirsty skin, some slackening and fine lines, but the multi-tones of my skin are distressing me most. Thanks.

Hi Michaela, love all your tips and advice on QVC – thank you. Please can you let me know when I should use my toner when cleansing, exfoliating and using a mask? Is it just after cleansing or after all of these? Thank you. Suzy x
