Hi there, thank you so much for reading my blog.
I am writing this from Camarthenshire in West Wales where I am staying in a friend’s house, restored from a old farm house to a cosy, rustic home. I have never stayed anywhere so remote – the nearest neighbour (apart from the farmer) is 6 miles away! No phone signal or wifi so this blog is being posted from Tesco in Carmarthen!
We arrived early evening (with no light pollution) under a blanket of twinkling stars. And as I opened the shutters early this morning I got a sense of just how beautiful it is, rolling hills, lush wet green grass and trees in every direction as far as the eyes could see.
I feel a sense of calm I rarely have in my busy London life and realised how wonderful it is to go back to nature. And timing-wise, this is perfect for my blog as I wanted to share with you a skincare brand that is all about going back to nature…
Pure Potions was founded 10 years ago by Natalie Balmond, a mother who wanted to find an effective, safe, natural and non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s extremely dry skin. Beginning in her own kitchen she combined soothing natural oils and herbs to create the first Pure Potions product, the iconic Skin Salvation Ointment.
The range has grown to a face, hands, bath and body collection and the ‘Skin Salvation’ range is loved by people with very dry or sensitive skin but also by those who want healthy, glowing and radiant skin with an all-natural, ‘free-from’ range that is a joy to use.
I have made a series of short one minute ‘get to know’ videos where I highlight the range. Have a look below:

Join myself, founder Natalie and beauty expert Emma as we take you through a full hour of Pure Potions on Wednesday 8th March at midday.
Big healthy hugs,
PS – If you can’t make the show be sure to either record it or watch it live on your tablet, phone or computer on the QVC UK website!
