Wow, I can't believe its only a week since I got back form Cyprus and it feels like so much has happened – to say it's been a hectic week is an understatement!
I got back from Cyprus late on Sunday night (my holiday snaps are on my earlier blog) and then it was straight back into busy morning and Christmas shows, interviewing the wonderful Alfie Boe again and welcome new guest Bill Pollack in the South Western Silver show I hosted.
Then mid-week I nipped down to Bristol for a couple of days to see my beloved sister and niece. It was great to see them but I was just in the grips of a cold, so my energy levels were a bit low, but we had fun. In the pic you can see me and Jassie playing in the square near my sister's house and squinting in the sun, it was so bright – its such a funny shot – looks like we are pulling faces but we are just squinting at the sun!
Then it was back on the weekend morning shows for the Q-Technology weekend which I loved being part of and I even got to do some fashion with Glen Campbell – I am very lucky as a presenter at QVC – the variety of shows I get to host is great!
So, all in all, been a great week – just slighted blighted by this horrid cold so apologies if you caught me sniffing and sneezing!
Any tips on how to prevent further colds or what to do once you have one or do you think it just boils down to good old fashioned rest?!
And before I go, I just wanted to say a massive 'thank you' to all of you who supported and sponsored me for the half marathon – you helped me raise an amazing £1000 for Breast Cancer Care!
See you soon,
