It’s exciting times for jewellery fans at QVC, as we’re gearing up to launch yet another top name.
Since launching 18 years ago, Azuni London has grown into an established designer brand. With creative director Ashley Marshall at the design helm they continue to create new designs, mixing the old and the new, from ancient cultures to the latest fashion looks. A trained silversmith, Ashley loves discovering old techniques and employing them in modern, trend-inspired jewellery designs.
A selection of gorgeous products from five Azuni collections will be coming to QVC shoppers, inspired by Ashley’s travels and experiences of different cultures around the world. He says:
“As a designer there is nothing more exciting than delving back into the past, discovering antiquities and marvelling at the techniques that ancient cultures employed in their art.
“One small detail can spark an idea. A curve, a texture, a pattern – they can all lead you to a kaleidoscope of ideas that will keep your creativity fuelled for weeks.”
When the first show airs on Monday 23rd March at 4pm you’ll be able to shop from the Athena collection, evoking ancient Greece; the Cleopatra collection, incorporating ancient Egyptian motifs; Etrusca, a collection inspired by historic Italian civilisations; Dreamcatcher, crafted using traditional beaded techniques from the Americas; and Friendship, a collection of bracelets that reflect the colourful and individual paths we take as we travel today’s global community, a rich tapestry of bonds woven through chance encounters, friendships new and old, and unforeseen love.
“My favourite piece is the long coin necklace from the Cleopatra range, which we’ve pictured at the top; it is so versatile and dramatically changes and updates any outfit, with a sophisticated yet bohemian style which is great for dressing up a more casual look.”
