Autumn walks and a Churchill’s Confectionery TSV

1

I hope all is well as always! Hot on the heels of Monday’s Andi Peters’ Food Fest, which featured the charming reality TV star Jamie Laing and his Candy Kittens sweets brand, pictured here with me and Andi.

I’m pleased to report that Andi and I are back this Friday as part of a wonderful food event at the Q, centred on the fabulous Today’s Special Value (TSV) from British confectioners, Churchill’s. Since 1984, this family-run company has been supplying their customers with only the finest, tastiest sweets, biscuits and chocolates. Putting a personal touch on their range, Churchill’s create their own unique decorative packing, which makes for perfect gift-giving!

The upcoming Churchill’s TSV offers you a choice between two biscuit selections. You can choose two Snow Globe Tins, one filled with 225g of Cinnamon Petticoat Tails Shortbread and the other with 225g of Mini Chocolate Chip Biscuits. Or, opt for a set of two art deco-inspired tins, “Scarlett” (rectangular) and “Marlene (square). Scarlett contains 300g of delicious Raspberry & White Chocolate Biscuits, while Marlene features 200g of Belgian Chocolate Biscuits – both made especially for our QVC customers, without any artificial colours, flavour or preservatives.

Here’s Marlene – I just couldn’t wait until Christmas!

Churchill’s biscuits are ideal gifts for friends, family, teachers or colleagues. I always keep them in my special ‘unexpected guest’ cupboard!

There is also an Auto Delivery option, so if you order the “Ladies”, you’ll receive the same two tins 100 days later. However, if you order “Snowglobes”, you’ll receive a Daffodil Tin with 300g of Ginger and Lemon Biscuits, plus one Rose Garden Tin with 200g of Apple Crumble Biscuits!

As always this is an option and can be cancelled should you change your mind later.

Andi’s two hour special starts at the earlier time of 3pm this Friday and is set to feature some delicious customer favourites, such as cured smoked salmon from H Forman & Son, best of British meat and poultry from Green Seasons, treats from the multi-award winning Cottage Delight, some fabulous baking from The Original Cake Company, scrumptious pies from Simple Simon’s and wonderful teas from Whittard of Chelsea.

Hope you can join us! As always, a huge thank you for all of the amazing tweets we receive ever week. Why not join in the banter by tweeting me @dalefranklinTV and include @andipeters and @QVCUK as well. If you’re not on Twitter, you can text in on 80782.

Finally, I couldn’t resist including a photo I snapped whilst walking the dogs this week – every time I look at it, I feel like I’m taking a deep breath in and letting out a long aaaahhhhhhh! As I said last week, I love autumn.

Until next time… stay well-fed and full of autumn joy!
