So some of you may have recently heard me mention on air that I've been pressure washing my driveway and decking.
With it finally feeling like summer I thought I'd spruce up my garden as I've neglected it a little. I can't believe how much I've enjoyed doing physical work for once. It's one of the most satisfying things I think I've done in ages, and it must be four years since everything had a good clean, so the results are really dramatic - as you can see from this photo of my decking.
It's taken quite a while though. In fact, I've been cleaning for over 14 hours now and it's still not finished. But you know what, I really don't mind. As long as the sun keeps on shining I'll keep on washing!
It's only when you start a job like this that you discover it's only the tip of the iceberg. I've now realised that I'm going to have to sand, clean and varnish the decking and all the garden furniture before the job's done. I'll be sure to post pictures sometime in 2012 - when I'm done!
Joking aside, if you've never used a pressure washer before, whilst it can be time-consuming, I'd highly recommend it as the results are outstanding.
If you've got any tips or little ideas that make a big difference in the garden I'd love to hear from you.
Until next time,
Anthony. x.

Well done to you, it looks lovely. My " Tip " however is to get somebody else to do the work :-)
Ps: You should " tweet" more ;)
