Since my last blog, I've celebrated my birthday. Having received a toaster for my last birthday it was with a touch of concern that my usually thoughtful, romantic husband may indeed have gone for good…
What this year I wondered? A kettle maybe? So, I'm delighted to report he did SO well! I have a vintage mannequin being made for me covered in animal print – DELICIOUS! I appreciate it's not to everyone's taste, yet it's so very me. It was very clever and brave of Dan, so there's hope if you too have received a dodgy gift.
As my birthday approached we had our usual guessing game-style conversations, which took me back to a dinner that we shared before my 40th…
Bearing in mind it was a biggie, I was throwing a party and the most incredible present in the whole wide world for me would be a …gypsy caravan. Now Dan knows this, I know this, my family and probably all my friends know this, so somehow I just knew Dan would make my dream come true!
However, during dinner that evening he plucked up the courage to tell me it was SO not going to happen! I was utterly devastated and cried. (I must of course tell you Dan organised our fabulous secret trip to Venice, so I did live a dream without a doubt.)
I know I sound like such a spoilt child and actually I don't even know where the dream came from. All I know is one day, come what may, I'm determined to live my dream and own my own!
I just wondered on the off chance, do any of you have a gypsy caravan you'd let go to a kind and loving owner? Thought not, but hey worth a try.
Do you have something a little different on your wish list? It'd be fabulous to hear from you.
Love and gypsy kisses!
