Anniversary news, Gem Day and more…

Dale at the Champagne chateau Thanks, as always, for the comments and views on Circus Boy! I've actually dug up another picture but I'll save it for a rainy day…

On Tuesday my wife Tracey and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Don't worry I've heard all the prison sentence gags going! I wanted to whisk her away to Venice or Rome but she persuaded me to drive down to the Champagne region of France and stay in a fairytale chateau complete with moat.

I'm really pleased she did as we had a wonderful relaxing weekend and enjoyed the whole trip. I even rekindled my skills as an oarsman and rowed Dale rows around the chateau's moat her around the moat without either of us getting wet!

I'm not sure what makes me feel older being 50 or being married 25 years, either way both are landmarks of sorts and I count myself fortunate to celebrate both.

Nepalese Kyanite 9ct Gold Band Ring Just a reminder that this Sunday is Gem Day

Saturday night into Sunday, Debs Flint and I will open the event at midnight and then I'll be returning with Gary Rockman for Mexican Magdalena Fire Opal at 5pm and Nepalese Kyanite at 7pm. Then at 9pm I'll be joined by Laurie Wickwire for an hour of Premier Tanzanite.

Fire Opal & Diamond Accent 9ct Gold Flame Ring I've of course chosen my favourites from each hour and this Gem Day after all that rowing – I've pushed the boat out! Choosing gorgeous big bold designs including the highest price point of the day and the only AAAA tanzanite of the day.

I'll leave the links to my top picks below and you can look at them at your leisure if you wish.

Hope you can join me at some point in what is set to be an amazing day's viewing on QVC.

Take care,
Dale. x

Congratulations to you and Tracey on your Silver Wedding Anniversary. My parents celebrated their golden in March which we spent in Australia and actually on the day we enjoyed lunch in the Sydney tower restaurant enjoying 360 degrees view of the marvellous city

Nice to see you, to see you nice. Congratulations on your 25th Wedding Anniversary. I’m surprised you had the stamina to row Tracey around the moat after all those pies you ate. Sounds like you both had a lovely time. You forgot to mention how much Champagne you consumed – it would have been very rude of you to go all the way down to the Champagne region and not sample the local produce. The setting looked very romantic; a wonderful choice Tracey.
