It was celebrations all round last week when I was celebrating 15 years at QVC and 19 years for my wedding anniversary.
I honestly can’t believe where the time has gone.
It was a great evening with QVC where we celebrated at the Mayfair hotel. We had Champagne on arrival (sparkling water for me)…pink Champagne is so beautiful, I just wish I liked it…especially at times like this.
We had a beautiful meal and it was so lovely to catch up with friends and colleagues who we often only see when we are busy with our shows at QVC.
Knowing me as you do I just can't do normal, check out the photo…it was so funny to see Steve’s face!
But little did I know what was coming next, he certainly got his own back by surprising me and Larry with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for our 19th wedding anniversary (in the picture at the top)!
It was a great night, certainly one to remember.
On Saturday we had a wonderful day together to celebrate our anniversary with lots of romantic surprises. We always take the day off and make sure we spend it together on our special day.
It really was a dream come true and I wouldn’t have changed a thing - in fact, I would love to do it all over again. The memories we treasure in our hearts and they will stay with us forever.
We took a speed boat on our wedding day in our wedding attire to Maragot Bay for lunch where they filmed Doctor Dolittle. It was breathtaking! To my delight no rain or cold weather!
We are still quite simply the love of each other’s lives. We laugh so much and I believe this is a perfect tonic for life as well as trust, honesty and great respect for each other. We are so lucky as I don’t see this very often in life.
After a full day on Saturday we had dinner at Coworth Park, which is my favourite restaurant/Mansion house out of London. The waiter invited us to meet the chef in the kitchens and see all the delicious chocolate desserts being made – a magical 19th anniversary.
Here's to 20 years! Wow, how will we celebrate that one?
Love and happiness,
