Book Cover Oct 2015

And the winner of my book is…

Thanks so much to everyone who entered my blog giveaway, and thank you too for all the lovely comments. I was so nervous about my book coming out, so it’s just wonderful to hear that some of you have already bought and enjoyed it! I really appreciate each and every good wish you have sent, and wish I could reply to each individually, but please know that I have read every single one and am so grateful.

So, without further ado, the winner of a signed copy of my debut novel The Dead Dog Day is:

Caroline Horne!

Congratulations Caroline, I really hope you like it! It should be on its way to you next week.

Love Jackie x

Hi Jackie, just finished reading your book. I am a big fan of the crime mystery genre, and found your book easy reading. Thought it was a little slow to get going (unlike the heroine who seems to be rather racy) but liked the way you drew your characters. I was rather surprised at the amount of alcohol she consumed considering her hours on the road, reckon she must have been 90% proof most of the time, and the unprotected sex she indulged in. If she is an example of persons in the media no wonder they all need facelifts and spa treatments. However,,
that said I did enjoy it and look forward to the next one.

      Hi Cindy,
Yes she is a rather racy girl…I think she only drank a lot when she was off the next day though! She’s a little more grown up in the second book which I’m currently working on. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for getting in touch!

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your book, which I finished last night. I was wrongly convinced of the second victim right up to the reveal. Loved the loyalty to QVC, Emu boots for Cora, not Uggs ! Really looking forward to your next book. Kind regards
