And the winner is…

Well, firstly thank you so much for all your entries to the Festive Foods Competition. With all of those lovely gourmet treats on offer it was certainly a popular one!

The answer, I can now reveal, was option B! It was indeed Mrs Cratchit who served the Christmas pudding (or plum pudding as it was then known) in the Charles Dickens novel ‘A Christmas Carol’.

It was great to see so many of you commenting that ‘A Christmas Carol’ is your all-time favourite film. A couple of you also had school productions of the novel currently underway and one of you was even touring with the musical version! What a talented and knowledgeable bunch you are.

So, I’m sure you’re all eager to know who the winner is… chosen at random from all of the correct entries, Anna Brown is the Festive Foods winner!

A huge congratulations goes out to you from all of us at here at QVC. I must say, having sampled some of the goodies first hand, you are definitely in for some sumptuously tasty treats!

Now before I go, I must let you know that I’m currently working on my top Christmas gifts for all the ladies. My gift guide will be with you soon, but I’m also launching a delightful Liz Earle Today’s Special Value at midnight on the 5th December, which will be running all day on Thursday. This fabulous offer from the Liz Earle range is the Captivating Fragrant Must Haves Collection, featuring a Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, a Rosemary & Rock Rose Hand Repair, and we even have all five Liz Earle fragrances for you to choose from.

I’m totally aware of how hard it can be to order a ‘smelly through the telly’, but having tried all of the fragrances we have available, I can assure you that it would be virtually impossible to make the wrong choice. They are all gorgeous designer aromas infused with delightful botanicals, sure to make an incredible Christmas treat. I really do love them all, but if I had to choose just one, my all-time favourite would be No.15. Rich in notes of bergamot and bourbon vanilla, I think this gorgeous scent smells a little mysterious.

The ever smiley Caroline Archer will be joining me for the launch of the collection and we’ll be breaking down the notes of each and every fragrance, taking you on a luxurious scented journey and helping you to make the perfect choice.

See you then,

Jilly x

I think Dec 5th is a Tuesday, not a Thursday? I wouldn’t want anyone to miss the Liz Earle TSV. Thanks to all at Liz Earle for your fabulous products. I have the Number 15 perfume and it is absolutely gorgeous, gently warming with woody and spicy notes. Perfect for this time of year Don’t hesitate in buying it, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to the whole QVC team too and Merry Christmas to you all.
