I saw her first time on Britains Got Talent on Saturday, on Sunday morning I looked up her YouTube videos from when she was 8 years old. Wow, what a mega talented star in the making. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Well done QVC for getting her on your station just before she rules the world of “classical crossover” music.

She is so very touching. The voice is obviously outstanding and she is well taught how to use it. I do have shivers down my spine when I listen to Jackie sing, but not only delight causes it.
Using her vocal folds in this way as early in life as that is very dangerous. Vocal instrument is not mature enough yet. And with every beautiful turn of the tune Jackie’s voice takes, I think of the damage it may cause her.
I do think this is a phenomenon to register, a girl of nine singing as beautiful as that. But I hope her parents will let us enjoy her voice later as well, and give it a chance to develop properly, rather than just waste it alltogether.

This young lady is truly blessed and truly talented. THIS is singing! May she go on and on and on. It’s really good to see that she’s not made up to look like an 18 year old. Thankyou QVC. I viewed just to see Jackie, not to purchase anything!

This has to be the most beautiful of music to listen too, she brought tears to my ears, and her duet with Barbara Striesand was stunning – not many singers can hold their own with such a powerful singer but Jackie managed just fine. She has a truly amazing talent and I wish her all good luck for her future.

Please do a little more research to see how carefully her voice development is monitored by not only her vocal coach, the world-famous Evie Burnett, but also the Pittsburgh School of Voice, including quarterly laryngoscopies (sp?) by the school’s ENT. She is inlikely to do any damage since she already uses Bel Canto techniques & her remarkable sound comes from using head register almost exclusivly.

At eleven (11) years old, Jackie Evancho is by far my #1 favorite vocalist in the world!! Every time I hear her sing, it seems like I’m hearing her for the first time! I cannot say this for any other singer that I’ve ever heard. And believe me, I’ve heard a lot of singers! I heartily recommend you buy her CD. It is not only worth every penny, it is worth much much more!! You will NOT be sorry. It will become a most treasured possession in your home and eventually you will wonder why you didn’t get two or more, since you will wear it out from playing it so much!

There is no doubt that her “Dream With Me” album will go platinum. I hope Jackie’s parents allow her to go to the Grammy awards next year to pick up what will probably be 1 or 2 awards – Best New Artist should definitely be one of them. Wouldn’t it be great if Jackie and Susan Boyle could sing “A Mother’s Prayer” together on the show? I think it would bring the house down. Thank you Jackie for sharing your beautiful voice with us and best wishes for your continued success. May God continue to bless you and may He bless us with the gift of your music. Your voice helps to soothe a troubled world.
