Well what can I say... except THANK YOU ALL!! :) So many of you have taken time out to choose the dress I am to wear tonight to host our fantastic Be Aware, Show you Care Breast Cancer Care Fundraiser.
I'm delighted to be able to tell you now which dress won... and trust me it's taken a few counts, as Willows (my cat) launched herself onto the lap top and I lost my place as her paws hit the keyboard... oh, and then the postlady called (with my Lock & Locks) and the battery ran out while I was answering the door, BUT all that aside, here's the verdict...

Well, it was the cinema last week with superstars on the big screen but this week it was the real thing! Breast Cancer Care's Annual Fashion Show at the Grosvenor Hotel, which we - QVC - are the official broadcaster of!
One show, 24 models, one purpose - that was the motivational line that brought so many stars to the event to see 24 women, either suffering with or having survived breast cancer. These 23 women and one man were amazing! Truly.
They walked tall on the catwalk wearing the most fabulous fashion, themed to music, and knocked the socks of what the others do in Paris Milan and New York. For some of the girls, who've undergone major surgery and are still having treatment, it was a very long day but the look on their faces as they gained confidence was priceless.
There were smiles and tears but overall an incredible feeling of wellbeing, hope and happiness. Best of all, you'll be able to see some of the show next Thursday evening between 7pm and 10pm when Dale and I bring you the 8th Be Aware Show you Care Fundraiser, so make sure you join us, cos we need your money and your support badly to raise even more money for Breast Cancer Care.

I seem to have travelled the length and breadth of the country over the last week, and found out many weird and wonderful things about this fair isle, some that I need your help with.
Let's start with my trip to Dorset. Such a beautiful part of the country and thanks to the M3 not that difficult to reach. But why when you're only a couple of hours from London are the phone boxes yellow and the police cars navy blue?? Should there not be countrywide uniformity? It's like the chip and pin machines - why can't they make one size that fits all cards... the same way!!
Moaning aside, I have to say our day in Shaftesbury was fabulous! You may recognise the street in the photo (above) as it was the same one used for the Hovis advert. I'm telling you the chap with the bike would have needed to have got that right the first time, 'cos too many takes and it would have taken more than a loaf of bread to resuscitate him!

In between domestic duties I've enjoyed some cracking hours at QVC this week. I hope you managed to see some of our Fashion Day - I had the joy of working with the Tiana B range of dresses and have seriously never had as many compliments about my outfit.
The beautiful black and white dress I was wearing sold out - as did pretty much everything - but as my last attempt to change between shows was close to a calamity (I was heading into the studio with a completely sheer top on, and only my boil wash bra underneath!), I kept it on for my Dreamkeeper hour and then with Simon Wilson for his fab accessories show.
Of course there was more fashion this week with Kim and Co, and I thoroughly enjoyed my launch of the Kim & Co TSV with Kim. I wasn't at all surprised to hear that it had sold out before my 7pm show with her later that day.

I'm very much looking forward to this week's shows as I have two hours of fabulous yet diverse fashion - Tiana B and Dreamkeeper. So, watch out for a chance to update your wardrobe or to add something truly stylish to it.
I'm excited too about a rather fab watch you'll see me wearing which is from a brand new range called Elite. "Elite. That sounds familiar!" I hear you say... not surprisingly because it's the name of one of the top model agencies in this country, and if you take into account the calibre of their models, I know you're going to LOVE their watches.
Been loving Glen Campbell's Style File and the guessing game to see whose shoes he was showing... I think you're all brilliant to have got them pretty much right each time! Seems Catherine Huntley and I are closest in style with our shoes, but I take my hat off to you, because the amount of time our feet are actually on screen is minimal, so clearly your eyesight is a great deal better than mine! Do you think it would work with the guy's feet? Not so much variation on a theme perhaps...
