Wednesday's Liz Earle TSV and my beauty routine revealed

I'm assured that night follows day, but my current shift pattern leads me to disbelieve this! I'm living in some kind of weird twilight world, but reading all your comments on my blog has made me smile, and it's lovely to get a snapshot of your world too.

Of course working lates does have its bonuses - bringing you some fabulous TSVs over the last week, and still several more to come. Last night was a corking excuse to dress up in my Christmas party dress for the Grand Opening of Diamonique Day - our 14th to date! 

Thank heavens for Alison Young who laced me into a fitted and boned creation - but where was she at 2am when I needed to get out of it in a hurry and head off home?! Tucked into her bed I hope... it took a while but I was determined and with the help of a mirror and a coathanger I was able to disrobe rather than having to find my feet in amongst the chiffon, accelerator and brake pedals!

Tonight we have an incredible collection of Liz Earle products at a price that seriously begs belief! Caroline Archer will be joining me at midnight, and it promises to be a fast and furious couple of hours. We had a good old chin wag last Wednesday when we worked together, and both agree that this is possibly one of the best TSVs Liz has brought to you so far! 

Spring fashion and getting that sun-kissed holiday look

In between domestic duties I've enjoyed some cracking hours at QVC this week. I hope you managed to see some of our Fashion Day - I had the joy of working with the Tiana B range of dresses and have seriously never had as many compliments about my outfit. 

The beautiful black and white dress I was wearing sold out - as did pretty much everything - but as my last attempt to change between shows was close to a calamity (I was heading into the studio with a completely sheer top on, and only my boil wash bra underneath!), I kept it on for my Dreamkeeper hour and then with Simon Wilson for his fab accessories show.

Of course there was more fashion this week with Kim and Co, and I thoroughly enjoyed my launch of the Kim & Co TSV with Kim. I wasn't at all surprised to hear that it had sold out before my 7pm show with her later that day. 

Our Liz Earle TSV and getting caught in a blizzard

Ever seen the film 'Groundhog Day'? I had very much that feeling of deja vu on Wednesday night after our fab Northern Nights TSV. I left QVC Towers at 2.15pm and drove into a blizzard on the M1, which meant I didn't get into my lovely 100% cotton flannel sheets til 4.30am! 

But, to be honest there was a limit to how wound up I could be as only hours before I'd had the lovely Emma at Liz Earle's salon, just off King's Road in Chelsea, give me a fab facial treatment and shoulder massage! What luxury!

Hair rollers and pampering facials

Hi everyone,

It's been such a busy week. Having had my hair restyled last week, I've been trying various ways to make it look the same as it did when I left the salon!!

I got a top tip from our Claire (bless her) -  put large velcro rollers along the top of your head and leave them there while prepping before a show. Result?  Well, you can be the judge of that! 

I have to admit I didn't bother with the rollers this weekend. I was away with four of my girlfriends in the beautiful Wye Valley. We rented a cottage and spent our time painting nails and pampering each other with a mix of Elemis, Decleor and Gatineau facials... luxury!   

I hope you get to indulge in a little pampering at some point.
