I have watched you since the beginning! My first order was Ecotan in the long thin plastic tube, remember? If you still sold it I would still be buying it!!! It was the best facial self tan I have ever used and wish it hadnt gone. Also I bought your first TSV which if I remember rightly was a Decleor Top to Toe kit and have loved Decleor ever since. Liz Earle, Gatineaux, Ultrasun, Opi, Mally, Laura Geller the list is endless and I have used and love them all, so thank you Alison xxx

I am so grateful to Alison and QVC. I have learned so much from Alison on skincare, how to apply makeup, particularly for me is the application of blusher and how to make up my eyes. I really do look more youthful now than I did 10 years ago all thanks to Alison and the products from QVC. Congratulations and thanks on your 17 years anniversary.

Lovely house Alison, I must remember to take Headed paper out with me, what a great Idea!
I have been taking your advice from day 1 and use Decleor, favourites: Neck serum, aroma range, oils and mixing Prologene with body creams & body oil.
Gatineau Melotogenine I come back to and Floracil makeup remover I have used for years.
Elemis is also a big favourite both for performance products ( Quartz serum & mask) and for indulging with the Frangipani Monoi, always gratefully recieved as a gift. I used to go for Elemis Facials so was delighted when it was offered on QVC.
I am looking forward to the Liz Earle TSV.
I use Bobbi Brown makeup and recently New CID particularly the Flutter Mascara.
Your excellent advice over the years has kept me young, people do comment on my skin (I recently turned 46),I think by writing this Iv’e realised I am a Beauty Junkie!
A great one stop shop for all my beauty needs Easi pay is also very welcome and your advice invaluable, I Thank you x 😉

    Hi Ali
Happy 17th Anniversary and thank you so much for introducing me to the vast array of beauty products now available on QVC.
Some 10+ plus years ago, when I first found you, I watched a number of shows before actually taking the plunge to make my first ever beauty purchase from QVC, there were only a few brands back then and it was a Decleor kit which had a yellow bag with about 10 different products…it was a real bumper pack!!
Since then I’ve been hooked and there are more products than ever, which on occasion can be quite confusing, but Ali is on hand to put you in the right direction.
At the moment, the product that I am constantly using and can’t be without is ABC’s Tea Tree Oil…I’m of that age where everything has gone to pot and hormones all over the place…my hair and scalp is suffering, with lumps and very dry bits. Although using Philip Kingsley products (Scalp Tonic etc), I’ve been putting a couple of drops into my shampoo and conditioner. Also, for a sore mouth, a drop on your toothpaste and in water as a mouth wash soon sorts it out. I wouldn’t be without it and even the other half is hooked on tea tree too!!
Here’s to many more happy years of ‘In the Salon with Alison’!

Congrations Alison – I simply love watching you – you are an inspiration to us all. You have certainly taught us a lot on what to do and not what to do, in the line of sunbathing, and look after our skin. Would love to see you getting through to the older ‘males’ on what they should be doing in the line of moisturising, sun care etc.
However, many thanks, will be recording these special anniversary shows, and many congratulations. Loved watching you in the ‘at home’ videos. Keep up the good work, QVC would not be the same without you!!
    Love Angela in Oxford.

Just befoe I turned 50, I developed a long term health problem and spent quite a lot of time resting in bed. Having a really busy job at the time, I didn’t watch TV at all, but during my enforced rest I discovered QVC. Although I have always used skincare – cleanse, tone, moisturise, sun block (listen to Alison ladies – she’s right!), it had been mainly middle of the range, and the brands I had always bought. I avoid cosmetic counters as I know the assistants are under immense pressure to meet sales targets. But after watching Alison I upgraded my skin care routine, with fab effect. Thanks especially to Liz Earle & Alpha H. Then I moved on to my cosmetics and upgraded my look – thanks to Bobbi Brown, Bare Escentuals & of course Stacey Scheflin. Despite my ongoing illness, I look better than I did 10 years ago. Not all products suit everyone but the 30 day money back guarantee has enabled me to try brands I wouldn’t have otherwise. Thanks Alison!

Hi Ali, I’m SO glad you came to QVC. You’ve transformed my beauty routine and taught me so much. My first ever purchase from QVC was a Gatineau kit, and I haven’t looked back since. From there I bought some Smashbox makeup, which I still love, and I’ve also now gone on to Lulu’s Time Bomb, which suits my skin brilliantly. I also love Bare Escentuals Buxom lipgloss and Mally makeup. So thank you SO much and keep it coming!

    Hi alison,
I am the one person in scunthorpe you mentioned. You changed my life 15 years ago, after watching and learning from you I decided I wanted a career as a nail technician so went to college and I have loved doing nails ever since. Dont ever stop doing your shows, you are fantastic.

    Hi Alison
Happy 17th Anniversary, I have watched from the very begining and my first beauty product was Aveda Shampure the smell was devine and although QVC no longer have Aveda I still use Shampure and Blue Malva to this day. I suffered from a itchy scalp for years and you came along with Aveda and I never looked back. I have some lovely products original bags that came with the makeup sets from Liz Earle, Decleor, Mohavi Magic blusher which I still have and use as I purchased 10 of them all those years ago, also purchased an amazing blusher brush which is Tova’s and again I still use it everyday just like my Aveda Brush, which I always remember you bringing on air with Paul Lavers and laughing how well used it was. But you really have brought us some amazing products and brands with fantastic value over the years. Molton Brown sets were extremely amazing value which was all down to you fighting for the QVC customers getting great value for money. WELL DONE you have rewritten beauty in our household as we all use great quality products on our skin and having two daughter who have grown up with great skincare because of your wonderful advice all I can say is a big THANK YOU Alison you should be so proud of yourself because you changed the way the average household thinks about beauty.
P.S. My only gripe would be is that my hubby always moans that he wishes you would tell us what products Simon uses because he always says if its good enough for Alison’s husband them I want to purchase the item so maybe in the future you can give us a list of all the product’s Simon uses?

    Hi Ali,
I have lived by your advice for the last 10 years or so… I am disabled and pretty much housebound, without you and QVC I would hate to think how I would look and then ultimately feel!!!
I have also passed on numerous nuggets of wisdom to my 22 year old daughter and my 62 year old mum.
My daughter has stunning skin, she has been spoilt with philosophy and bobbi brown…
My mum is an avid Liza Earle user.
Thank you doesn’t seem enough, but congratulations for all the years you have been giving us advice and here’s to the next decade at least
    All the best

That was great to watch Ali. You have a lovely home and I really loved the ‘sandwich thief’!
I discovered you on QVC about seven years ago and have been hooked to your fantastic advice and products ever since. I believe I have now found my Holy Grail in skincare on QVC with Elemis and, of course, Ultrasun which I use EVERY day. I’m 50 next year but look much younger thanks to your advice and the brilliant products you bring us. I am also much more confident applying make-up, my favourites being Bare Minerals and Laura Gellar. Another AMAZING find from you and QVC has to be Revitalash, I’m addicted! A very happy anniversary and huge thanks for all you do for us. xx

Hi Alison I have been with QVC 6yrs. My first products were Liz Earle and I have not stopped. I have purchased expensive products from the high street and regretted it. The money back guarantee and easy pay gives me the confidence to try products that are not within my price range. This also gives me the opportunity to stock up. I love the salon sizes and can’t live without Floracil, Mally and SBC. Thank you for your expert advice and more importantly your honesty. Happy Anniversary..have a fab day.
    Best wishes

Hi Alison. Many congratulations on your special anniversary. You are an amazing teacher and I wanted to let you know how your teaching has helped me.
I have been with QVC since the beginning. In 1995 I lived in Denmark. I was very sickwith a chronic back condition which meant I couldn’t walk for 2 years and was bed bound. We managed to get a very large satellite dish and QVC was the only English programe we could receive that didn’t have Danish subtitles. !!
I watched you so much and loved it. I learnt so much.
I applied what I leant to my own life and then years later I worked for a company selling makeup in the home, teaching makeup and skincare application. I found myself remembering all that I have learnt
    from you over the years.
Thank you so much. I am addicted to makeup and skincare now and am often told I don’t look my age of 51!!!
Keep teaching and bringing wonderful products to us.
    Best Regards

Congratualations on your anniversary. I had never watched qvc tv until I retired at the ripe old age of 45yrs about a year ago due to health problems, and you have definitely helped to keep me sane(ish) during this difficult transition. I really enjoy your shows, and you give great advice, keep up the good work!

Hi Ali, I am that second person from Scunthorpe who cannot thank you enough for your beauty advice over the past 12 years. I am now a “beauty junkie” in a good way. I have given friends and family pieces of advice gleened from you and even introduced Revitalash to my beauty therapist and clients at my hairdressers who were so impressed with my results! Look forward to your shows with new and innovative products as well as the tried and tested which I can always come back to.. Happy Anniversary, well deserved. Love Veronica xx

Congratulations on your 17th anniversary Alison, QVC is fortunate to have the benefit of your vast experience, and what is so great about you is your honesty in giving recommendations and opinions – you never recommend something just in order to sell a product, and in fact often advise viewers when they dont need a certain product. My personal favourites are Decleor, Elemis and Gatineau, all made so much more available and affordable thanks to QVCs great prices. Also I have learned a huge amount about skincare, make up and hair care from watching you. Keep doing what you do, and sending you love and best wishes. Morag in Aberdeen xx
