Hello! Hope you are well and managing to keep warm in these plunging temperatures.
I have been very busy, as you can imagine, QVC gets even more bustling than usual this time of year with lots going on.
I was in a pantomime at the weekend, just a one-off show with my drama group, and it was great fun. Sadly no photos I can show you, as they all came out really blurry, but needless to say, you know it’s Christmas season when the pantos begin!
A couple of things to watch out for this week:
This Saturday into Sunday, I’m launching our Amazon Echo Today’s Special Value with our guest Lee Hohbein. As you might be able to make out from the photos, this one is the ‘textured’ version, so it looks quite different and very smart. The sound is incredible and I have had great fun playing with it.
Funnily enough, the main room I have been using it in the kitchen; it’s great to listen to the radio or music, or even ask Alexa about weather, news etc. You can do this all hands-free whilst preparing meals. Every version of the Amazon Echo seems to get better, so whether it’s on your wish list or you are thinking of buying a special Christmas present, this is not to be missed. It will be available in Charcoal, Heather Grey or Sandstone all in the fabric finish.
28 pieces in total, all in your favourite fragrance. You get two large jars, medium jar, one small jar, and then 24 tea-lights. Just choose between Clean Cotton (still the world’s number one fragrance!), Midnight Jasmine, Black Cherry, Peony, Lemon Lavender, Red Apple Wreath, Cinnamon Stick, Vanilla Lime, or Vanilla Cupcake.
I have been lucky enough to try some of the Black Cherry collection and I had forgotten what a warm and comforting fragrance it is. I know it’s not strictly Christmassy, but it’s been a joy to indulge in this fragrance on these cold winter evenings. You can see some of the collection here dotted around my flat.
I have used the tea-lights in a wonderful holder my friend bought me as a housewarming present, as well as in Alison Cork tree holders. The small or medium jars are great in a smaller room like the kitchen and bedroom, and the large jar candles would be perfect for the the hallway or living room. Or for a real festive treat, burn all three together like I have in the photos to get a magnificent and powerful hit of fragrance. Why not, its Christmas!?
Be sure to join Rosa and I either at the launch or during the breakfast show repeat as I suspect this is going to be very popular!
Other than that, I do hope you are well and managing to get across all your Christmas preparations, I always forget how much there is to do, but I do find having started lots of it early really helps.
See you on the weekend!
