Aerobed saves the day

2

I’ve had a few sleepless nights recently as my lovely mum hasn’t been too well and, being a bit of a worrier by nature, it has kept me up at night. I decided that, rather than worrying, the best thing to do was to fly home to Northern Ireland and visit her to put my mind at rest. It was so lovely to see her in person and be able to assess how she was doing. Thankfully though, she is on the mend and seems to be doing better at the moment.

Staying with mum can be a little tricky though. She turns 79 this year and, like many people her age, she downsized a few years ago. In doing so, she moved from a three bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment. It’s much better for her to manage, but not so great when you arrive as an overnight visitor.

I have on different occasions spent the night on her sofa, living room floor, or a soft, lumpy bed in a guest suite at her apartment building. This visit I couldn’t help thinking that, while she has a small apartment, she really does need a spare bed. I wanted to be able to stay in the apartment with her, as she wasn’t feeling so well having just got out of hospital. It was in that moment I decided I needed to get her an Aerobed! It is the perfect solution.

I have an Aerobed and every time mum comes to visit me in London, I give her my room and I sleep on my Aerobed in the living room. It really is perfect because it is compact and easy to store when not in use and it inflates and deflates so quickly. I was able to convert my living room into a bedroom every night in just a few minutes, and then convert it back to a living room again just as quickly the next morning.

We have the latest version available as a Today’s Special Value this Sunday 2nd April, and I am going to order one for mum (well, really its for me as I will be the one sleeping on it!).

This new version has a few little extras, including the ability to adjust the level of inflation so you can find your perfect comfort level. It also has a power button so you don’t have to go searching under your fitted sheets to add a little extra inflation. The inflation dial has ‘Deflate’ and ‘Inflate’ options to help you adjust and customise the firmness easily. They really have made it so easy to get that perfect night’s sleep!

The Aerobed isn’t just for an occasional night’s sleep either. Last Christmas, I slept on mine for about 10 nights when mum was visiting and using my bed. Also I slept  ony my Aerobed for about a week while waiting for my bed to arrive after moving house in January this year.

To put that into context, I was actually suffering from a bad back for a good portion of last year and the idea of sleeping in an inflatable bed filled me with a sense of fear and dread. Well, I need not have worried as the Aerobed gave me super support and I had no issues with my back at all – which was not my experience having slept on inflatable mattresses in the past! Aerobed really is the Rolls Royce of inflatable beds.

It may seem shallow to say it, but I also like that they don’t look like an inflatable mattress, but rather, they look like a proper bed when they are inflated. When guests stay over, they really feel like they are sleeping in a proper bedroom! It is even a ‘proper bed’ height, so you don’t have to worry about getting down on the floor to get into it and you can even sit on the edge, like you would with a proper bed.

So whether it’s your living room, spare room, or study, your Aerobed will transform any space into a comfortable bedroom really quickly. You can inflate and deflate in under three mins! See for yourself…

The clever design allows you to swiftly change the room back to its original use, just as quickly when your guests have gone. Better than that it will pack down and store away in the bottom of a cupboard or under the stairs, ready to use at a moment’s notice. You can even just pop it into the trunk of the car and take it with you when you visit friends and family!

For me, Aerobed is a great investment. Not only does it mean not having to pay the cost of buying a bed, but it also means you don’t need to take up so much space when it’s not in use; it makes your home much more versatile.

So, if you want to give your guests the gift of a comfortable night’s sleep or – indeed – if you want to ensure you get a good night’s sleep when you stay over with friends and family, make sure you try the new and improved Aerobed Today’s Special Value. I shall be ordering mine and having it delivered directly to mum’s so that it will be there waiting for me when I visit.

So next time I have a sleepless night when visiting mum, I know it won’t be because of what I am sleeping on!

Until next time,

Miceal xx

Preparing with some extra bed is a must at my house for those unexpected overnight guests. Hence I prepare comfortable mattress aerobed that I bought from ruwette.nl. Aerobed transform any space into a comfortable bedroom quickly. That’s why it is so handy, compact and easy to store when not in use. Have used it more than 2 years, I satisfied with the quality.
