A wonderful WIGHT Christmas!!

Charlie's Dad - the head chef on Christmas DayHello! I hope you had a great Christmas (did you eat more than you planned to? I know I did!).

By the way, I did mean Wight, it's not a spelling mistake! I spent Christmas in the Isle of Wight with my Mum, Dad, sisters and family. There were so many of us and we simply had a brilliant time. This is Dad and he was head chef for the day! His cooking is fabulous (my Mum's is too… I should mention!) and on Christmas Day we just 'leave him to it' and he conjures up the most wonderful spread for us.

Dad's roast potatoes are legendary and the gravy is out of this world. I can't remember if the photo was taken before or after dinner but either way I think he'd had a drink or two (or three or four!). To be fair, Dad only drinks a few times a year! Then it was Boxing Day which was at my sisters and she laid on so much food. Thank you!

Charlie's sister wearing the Trespass TSVSpeaking of sisters, this is one of my other sisters, Nicola, who has been trying out the Trespass Today's Special Value for me. It's a cracking design which has been made for QVC. As well as looking fabulous, it has some brilliant features including a removable hood, water resistance and taped seams to help keep the wind at bay.

I think she looks great (future model for QVC perhaps!) and is wearing one of the four colours available. The snap shot was taken high up on the Isle of Wight at Culver and I'll be launching the Trespass TSV this Wednesday 4th Jan at 12 midnight!

Speaking of January, do you have any resolutions in mind? I had some but I seem to have forgotten them!

We came back from the Isle of Wight the day after Boxing Day, quickly unpacked and then I headed into work. Speaking of which, I'd better dash as I'm on air shortly..!

Take care and see you soon,
Charlie x

P.S… happy new year!!!!

Hi Charlie, I am pleased you had a great Christmas on the Isle of Wight. Pleased you liked the “reveller” story, just as well I did not say “what a cheek” out loud! Just ordered the flannel sheet set from Northern Nights, it’s the heavyweight one. Also ordered a Philip Kingsley shampoo too! Re jokes, Morecambe and Wise used to say some classic ones that always made me laugh like Ernie saying “I’ve got the scrolls” and Eric would say “I thought you were walking funny”! And Eric saying “LMS – Lucozade mixed with soot”! And “I’m playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order”! They were a scream! I love the IT programmes on QVC as they show you how to do things like making a movie, I have made many movies on my netbook from QVC and my camera is from QVC too! I like the 30 day money back guarantee, you feel relaxed shopping with QVC, I hate having to take things back to the high street! Well cheerio and all the best for the New Year to you and your family and everyone at QVC, Christine xx

    Hi Charlie.
You looked quiet lonely sitting on your own doing Charlie Bears with-out Charlie and Will last night. I did try to text to wish you a Happy New Year but didn’t find the number until nearly the end of the show and missed out.[I’m not too hot on all that stuff.] Bella did her usual sitting in front of of the TV and we didn’t get a look in. Hope you mamaged to get the little Organic’s LARLIE BEAR. Bella got this one for her Birthday and not Fifi as we had a little trouble with the fir. Carry on bringing all the bears to life [Bella wouldn’t forgive if you if you did stop.] Once again “Thank You” for showing Bella’s Photo’s It was the high light of my year.
Bella say’s a big Whoof and a Happy New Year as do I.

Hi Christine, Thanks for your reply.
Morecambe and Wise were simply brilliant. My Dad used to cry with laughter! Another favourite of mine were the Two Ronnies, I never tire of seeing the ‘four candles/fork handles’ sketch! Sounds like you’ve been busy with QVC. Take care and happy new year!

    Dear Charlie,
After watching you present the Charlie Bears collection a couple of days ago I decided to drop you a line especially when you said nobody looks at your blog. Well this proves we do!
I recently purchased my 2nd Charlie Bear. It was one of the Pandas named Pheonix. She is gorgeous. The way the expressions are captured is truly amazing. I have never really been a teddy bear collector, but these are converting me.They really have the ahh factor.
Please convey my gratitude to Charlie and William for creating these adoreable characters.
Well , may I wish you a Very Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family.
    Love and best wishes,
    Tina S.
