Hope you are well and having a good week?! Have you been enjoying the 'Share The Love' ongoing event? I think it sums up the way many of us feel about QVC.
I had a great week, really varied again. I had a long run of early shows which I very much enjoy, but boy, do they take their toll since I got used to doing lates! It's fun doing The Morning Show, just wonder if I need an extra coffee sometimes before we go live!!
After that I spent the weekend in Brighton, you can see me sampling a rather scrummy cocktail at Merhaba bar at the top of this post – it had rum, spices and passion fruit that had to be lit to caramelise, yum!! I only had 2, honest!!
Also went for dinner at Lee Hobein's place with Debbie (Flint). Lee made us a delicious meal and we had a great catch up. We also had a rather decadent experience of sipping champagne from glass slippers, in case you wondered what I was doing in this pic!!!!
We've decided it will be like a little mini 'Come Dine With Me', just need to work out who's next… which brings me onto my new pans!! You may remember a few weeks ago in one of my cook's essentials show we had a OTO on the mini blue pans – I finally got round to opening the box last week, I still get SO excited opening QVC parcels!
I was also in Bristol this weekend helping my sister with her wedding preparations, the big day is not far away! Mum and I nipped out for lunch on Saturday and were lucky enough to get a table outside on what turned out to be a glorious day.
Other than that, I have been lucky enough to try out some upcoming TSV's that I am launching; one is from Peony Flowers with an auto delivery option. They certainly add some much needed colour and cheeriness!
And I have been getting to sleep in Kelly Hoppen's latest duvet set, its a fab mosaic design and is reversible so you can go subtle or big on design and it really works on its own as a designer piece as well with any other Kelly throws as you can see in the photos. Oh and did I mention it is 100% cotton and 700 thread count, bliss!!
One final thing is that I am now on day 12 of my 'blitz' with my trainer, gosh its hard to stick to, especially as I have such a sweet tooth, you can see a photo of one of my new favourites – grilled salmon with a dash of white wine (a Simon Brown suggestion) served with brown rice and chill fried veg – yum!! and healthy, hurrah!!
So, that's it for this week, look after yourselves, do leave a comment and see you for Peony and Kelly Hoppen TSV's on Thursday and Sunday night respectively.
And don't forget, you can follow me @craigrowe_tv on Twitter, and you can also see more pics of the Kelly Hoppen and Peony TSV's on my Facebook page!
