Just thought I'd share with you my recent trip to Lotte's Kitchen in Chinor, Oxfordshire.
As some of you may know, I'm very good friends with Lotte Duncan, who's a cook, a foodie and an amazing gardener.
As well as penning her first book last year, 'Lotte's Kitchen', which is a top-seller already, she's now also opened a fab cafe by the same name.
As well as being greeted with copious amounts of tea and lots of homemade cake (Victoria sponge, choc orange cheesecake and strawberry cup cakes) we then enjoyed an afternoon of Lotte's cooking, where she made tear and share cheesy bread, lamb and feta burgers, sweet and crunchy chicken bites, cheese and tomato tart (to die for!) and my favourite – lavender and strawberry cheesecake. Needless to say by the time we left we were all well fed!!
Hope you like the photos, isn't it just a wonderful, cheerful place? I am hoping to head over again soon and curl up on the sofa for a wonderful afternoon tea!
What's your favourite way of passing an afternoon?
