A trip to Legoland

Steve and Craig with St Paul's cathedral at Legoland Hiya!

Well, I have at last fulfilled a childhood fantasy and finally made it to Legoland!!

Ever since I was a little boy I've loved Lego, I even won competitions in Bristol for my creations in Lego, it was my favourite pastime, I would spend hours building cranes, buildings, lorrys and my favourite – bridges (to this day I am fascinated by bridges!)

The London Eye and House of Parliament made from Lego So you can imagine my joy when my sister announced that her, her fiance Steve, my niece Jasmine and some friends were off to Legoland and did I want to join them… the answer was yes, yes YES!!!

It was such a brilliant day and being there with Jasmine and her friend Renee, both eight, was great fun as they wanted to see and do everything!

The gang have fun at Legoland The highlight of the day was definitely the log flume, nothing ever prepares you for getting totally soaked! I also adored exploring the mini towns and cities all built in Lego, the accuracy is amazing! The low point of the day for both me and Jas was the swinging pirate ship, we both came off looking green and feeling very worse for wear – definitely one I would skip next time! The park itself is set in beautiful surroundings and we were blessed with beautiful sunshine.

Hope you like the photos, it think it shows the fun we had!

Have you a favourite theme park? Or some good suggestions of which one we should visit next?

Much love,
