This is rapidly becoming a favourite past time of mine – indoor climbing. I'd never thought about taking it up until I saw just how much my children love it. It's very addictive (and tiring!).
We were first introduced to climbing at an extreme sports festival a few years ago. The RAF were there with their mobile climbing wall. My children queued up time and time again, to have another go! It's a lot of fun – the picture above is of me on the ceiling!
I'm still fairly new to climbing, my children are like spiders and make it look so easy. I'm hoping for my birthday (subtle hint… I know!) to get a new chalk bag from my children. At the moment I borrow my daughters, when we head off together, but I don't quite carry off the flowery design!
After a few hours of climbing it was off to the tennis court for an hour or so where my son made me run after the ball non-stop. He found it very, very funny, my legs however, didn't! So, it was off home, for a nice relaxing bath!
Back to work on Monday, with of course Silver Day on Tuesday and what an amazing day it was! I was thrilled and so grateful when my guest from the show, Amber Discoveries, presented me with a gift of Amber cuff links (pictured above and left).
A big, big thank you to Marzena.
There's a bit of a running joke here at QVC. The jewellery buyers know how much I love my cufflinks and whenever I pass by their desks I drop another (and not very subtle!) hint for more cufflinks! I have quite a collection. We will hopefully bring these cuff links to QVC in the not too distant future.
So spring is very much in the air. Walm, balmy days, and hopefully many of them, ahead of us as summer approaches. We're gearing up for our three day 'Step Into Spring' event! It all starts this coming Wednesday 21st March.
Wow, are we really near the end of March? I'm particularly pleased as I'll be on air with Ralph with the launch of the Honora Today's Special Value, Wednesday night at midnight! I won't give too much away, but I think you may just love this TSV!
Take care and have a great week and weekend!
Ps. This weeks fascinating fact – If travelling at top speed it would take a space shuttle around 160 thousand years to reach the nearest star!
