A real pony in my car!

2

Hello and possibly happy spring to you all… am I a little premature in saying that? I hope I haven’t jinxed any budding daffodils! Talking of flowers, this week’s blog is all about nature, real ponies in my car and my debut appearance on the main channel!

It was only two weeks ago when we had all the snow and now the flowers are popping their heads up and the sun is going down later and later by the day, which I love! But let’s rewind to -3C when many of us where snowed in and unable to move our cars or even see our cars for some people. This certainly was the case for our poor Pipa who found herself unable to get down her drive and make it safely to the studios. I was very happy and on hand to help out and covered Pipa’s hours on the main channel. I was really pleased to help and of course have the opportunity to make the merge between the channels. I had a great day starting with an hour of Laura Geller then Joules and finally Margaret Dabbs. Our wonderful Rachel from our make-up team Makeup Junkies was on set to touch up my make up and took a few on set pics which I’ve shared with you below. Hopefully this will be the first of many!

By the way if you love red lips too then you need to try the Laura Geller Fifty Kisses liquid lip colour duo. This is seriously red and lasts all night without needing to reapply. Even after eating and drinking! It’s quite incredible.

Talking beauty, I have recently got to know the beauty brand Prai. This is a wonderful and beautifully packaged brand for the more mature lady. I gifted my Mum the anti-aging orchid serum for Mother’s Day which she loves. It feels so silky and helps target those worrisome areas on our face and neck. Here is a clip with the Big Deal if you are interested.

Now, you may be wondering what on earth I meant by a real pony in my car.. take a look at this little fella!

Recently we took a trip to the New Forest to celebrate a very special date in time. After getting back in the car from a lovely long walk this beautiful pony wandered up, bold as you like and popped his head right in the window! He was ever so friendly and quite happy to have a little snuffle of my hat and face and then off he went. They are adorable! I love the New Forest, it is so vast and extremely beautiful. At this time of year the changing colours of the brown winter leaves and the fresh new bright green moss look stunning. Here are a few photos I took which looked so bright in colour.

The walk was a good few hours and the evidence is above on the map.

I did get quite wet though as there was quite an ongoing shower, luckily I had my Centigrade jacket on. At the end of the walk was a gorgeous pub that we could dry off in and sit by the fire. Check out their stylish log holder.

There are lots of exciting things on the horizon which you will see as the months unfold so keep watching. In the meantime I shall leave you with two of the other Big Deals this week. It’s all about the feet with these Skechers slip-ons. and how about those tummy crunches and six packs with the 10-in-1 Tone Zone.

By my next blog I’ll have visited these little scamps back up in the Highlands.

Take care of yourselves.
