Well Easter has come and gone and we're all looking forward and hoping for warmer weather – at the Q we've recently changed our graphics and have started to offer Birthday treats as this year is a big one for us being 20 years old.
As I was saying during Founders Weekend just past, we actually started on air 20 years ago this October. Perhaps nearer to October I'll be blogging about some of my favourite moments and asking you for yours!
I'm into my 16th year at QVC and I can't believe how far we've come, it's great to look at the schedule every week and see the great brands and celebrities we now have on-air – this week we have the irrepressible Russell Grant and the stunning dancer Flavia Cacace with their Zalza Dance TSV – Sadly I won't be busting any of my famous "Dad Dance" moves with them. As Brucie would Say and I confessed to Bruno Tonioli – Flavia is my 'favourite' on Strictly and I have fond and entertaining memories of working with Russell many times in the past.
I've had a peek at some of the designs – they are well worth tuning in! I haven't had a chance to properly meet Lisa yet, although we did say a quick hello, a few years ago at a Breast Cancer Care Fashion Show.
In common with QVC, BCC is a charity I believe Lisa has supported for some time.
I'm launching Saturday's TSV on Friday Evening – It's a brilliant new design from Lenovo that gives the user a tablet and powerful laptop experience in one compact unit, without the screen and keyboard coming apart! It has an impressive spec including Windows 8 – join Lee Hohbein and I at midnight Friday to find out more.
I thought of several comments – here's one for starters 'Richard are you actually going on-air with your security pass?'
Good luck and remember, as Marian will tell you all comments are moderated He Hee!
Have a great week Dale x
