A new year and last year’s resolutions…

Hello, happy New Year!

I can't believe we're half way through January – this year seems to be flying by already!

I think most of my colleagues' blogs this week will touch on the subject of snow.  There was plenty of it but luckily for me we weren't house bound – I managed to get into work. However, some of the team were unable to make it which meant more hours on air for many of us. There was a great team spirit with all of us pulling together.

How are your New Year resolutions going? In the end I didn't make any. I'm still trying to keep up with last years – more exercise, eat more fruit and veg and go to bed earlier! Let me know how you're getting on.

I have a fantastic craft TSV coming up this Monday evening at midnight. It's brilliant and will allow you to bring a real touch of creativity to your card making.

Take care see you soon

Hi Charlie-watched the Jackie Kennedy collection last night and something interested me in the history of the Cleopatra bracelet – the man ‘Phil’ who has all the history etc on this collection said that this was inspired/copied by the gift of a temple given by the Egyptian government in the 60’s. Can I just say that the temple in question ‘Temple of Dendur’ is housed in the Met.Museum of Art and always has been, he said it was in Central Park? Is this man a New Yorker or what? I visited the museum in 2008 and have photos of the temple housed in a glass building. Just for the record I thought I would point this out.
