Anyway, we eventually got to Florida last month, which was the holiday we were supposed to do last year and then my son broke his arm two weeks before we were due to leave and we had to unfortunately cancel. So, after a year-long wait, we finally made it.
The kids loved every minute and I fell hook, line and sinker for all that Disney smarm, right down to the automated wake-up service that wished me magical dreams every night.
The weather was really hot so I managed to pick up a bit of a tan along the way and thank goodness for the waterparks, which enabled us to have a little relax every few days. It really was an amazing holiday with memeories that I will treasure forever.
As soon as we got back it was all sytems go with both children in Sats years at school. I attempted to have a go at a Year 6 mock paper in maths and all I can say is thank goodness I work in telly! Then we went a bought the blazer that my son needs for his new school in September, which was quite a momentous occasion. I can't believe my little baby boy who made his television debut on QVC at just two weeks old is off to Secondary school! I'm going to need major therapy come September!
Hope you are all well out there in QVC land and here's to the next half term. Let's hope we get some great weather.
