A few days away in the Switzerland…

4

Sunny Switzerland!Am very lucky to be having a few days away in Switzerland, after my first month back, so have finally managed to reply to all your wonderful messages of support as I've started back! Thank you all again, I so appreciate all the kindness you've shown.

I can only say I'm loving it more than ever, and more than I ever imagined I would I think! I wanted to write to everyone individually as it really did mean so much as I started back.

Please forgive me if I do some group replies in the future – I will always answer any specific questions and write individually when time allows – things just get so busy! But just so you know, I absolutely LOVE hearing from you and reading all your comments!

Will Gowing has joined as our roving web reporter since I was here last – and what a fantastic job he does, letting us into everything QVC! Check out the little interview he did with me after my first shows, if you missed it at the time.

Well, it's been cheese and chocolate in Switzerland this weekend! It has also been a great opportunity for me to browse through the various products I've been on air with and loved over the last few weeks, and get ordering them for myself, as so often it's just too busy at the time – if they didn't sell out that is!

I have to say, I am loving many of the Ronni Nicole dresses and have ordered several (you will no doubt see them on air on me over the coming weeks!). I have also ordered the Beauty Pick for October, the PRAI Neck & Décolleté Cream, and some Skin Bliss Capsules from Elemis to get me through the Autumn.

Next week I have the Fenn Wright & Manson 1st Anniversary show on Wednesday at 2pm – definitely worth getting on the plane for! Then Lavender Tanzanite at 3pm and Practical Presents at 5pm – could be fun! Friday is my first evening with you, and also my first show of Dresses by Tiana B at 10pm -Midnight, which I'm really looking forward to.

In between all this, I have a very important Halloween party to host! When your little boy is called 'Caspar' – even though the spelling is not that of the well known ghost, the whole event is being taken more seriously than I have ever taken it in my whole life! I will report after the event, but "BOO!" is a word I am hearing a lot, I must say! So, "Happy Halloween" too! Do you have any spooky plans I wonder?

Hope you have a wonderful week and that you can join me some where along the way…

Much love,

Sara x

    Hi Sara
Nice to see you back, but don’t give up the acting – I don’t mean that as ;don’t give up the day job’! I simply have to refer to your son’s name; breed boxers – I currently have a dad and his son. Thanks to the neglect of a workman, they got out, and one had to have his front leg amputated. That was….Caspar. Spelt exactly the same as your Caspar. They cope better than we would with such a tragedy. I just hope – and I know he will – your Caspar brings as much joy to you, as mine does to me.
    Take care.
    Louise.

Ahh, bless you Louise! So sorry to hear your tale… I think you are so right though about their capacity to cope & adjust… As long as they have the loving environment & support that you obviously give, I am sure they are more than content. Wonderful they have that! Yes, indeed joy beyond words.
Sending you love & care Louise,

    Hi Sara
I’ve only been with QVC 3 years so you are new to me as a presenter, but what a lovely way you have about you: you come across very well on our screens, I must say.
Like another reviewer has said, I do hope you will be kept on when Pipa returns – QVC would be mad to lose you.
    Kind regards
    Susanne

Dear Susanne, it’s very kind of you to write to me and share your thoughts! I appreciate what you’ve said alot given you’ve joined QVC since I’ve been away. I can only say, that I am genuinely loving my time back at QVC, so maybe that’s what you pick up on. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas & to hear from you again.
    Fondest regards
    Sara x
