A Doctor Who adventure!

Me with a Cyberman Hello!

Well spring most certainly feels as though it's here! 18 degrees my car told me… wonderful!

I brought my children to London a couple of weeks ago to the Doctor Who Experience (excuse the poor quality photo – me with a Cyberman!) It was a great day out. We were there for a couple of hours or so.

We even went on a Doctor Who adventure, spent time in the Tardis and then took a look at a whole host of props and memorabilia. I even saw Tom Bakers famous scarf… seems to go on for miles!

So who is your favourite Doctor? I like the current Doctor played by Matt Smith but I really enjoyed David Tennant's performance. I remember as a child learning to ride my bike when we were living in Dorset. The bike was way too big for me; my toes were unable to touch the ground – not a good start!

I wibbled and wobbled, tumbled off and gashed my knee. Mum made me feel a whole lot better by sitting me down with jam sandwiches, a glass of milk and the latest episode of Doctor Who! If you get the chance to go I think you'll have a cracking time!

Just been looking at my schedule, freshly printed off! I'm on air this Monday from 1pm with a three-hour Gem Fest and then back on air Tuesday with an 11th anniversary show with the wonderful fashion designer Michelle Hope.

Take care and see you then!

    Hi Charlie
The Doctor Who exhibition must have been fascinating.I never much cared for the programme until Christopher Ecclestone was the Doctor and also David Tennant.I thought they were both very good.I don’t care much for Matt Smith,I much prefer his assistant who is played by Karen Gillan.I wonder why they have never changed the doctor to a woman as I think she would have played the part better? What do you think?

Hi Sylvia, what a great idea… I suppose the closest we’ve had so far to a ‘female doctor’ is Sarah Jane adventures with her sonic lipstick….! I’m a bit of an expert (learning through my two children!)
    take care
