A day (and night!) with Dawn and Amy

Craig with Dawn and Amy Hi there,

Hope you're all well and having a good week? Just thought I'd say hello and let you know what I was up to last weekend.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to join Dawn Bibby and Amy Shaw at the Craft & Stitch Show in Olympia. Wow, how exciting! It was the second time in a row I've been a part of it, and every year the event just seems to get bigger and better.

Craig and Dawn Dawn and I did a 'meet-and-greet' where I asked her some questions which had been sent in, then the audience had a chance to ask questions too. After that we chatted to everyone, signed photos and generally had a great time meeting everybody.

Dawn also did a couple of demonstrations throughout the day and it was such fun – kind of a live version of our Tuesday afternoon shows – and I loved the fact that the audience really got behind us and laughed in all the right places!

Dawn, Craig and Amy enjoying cocktails Following a hard day of crafting, we then hit the town in the West End. We went for a lovely meal in one of my favourite relaxed, friendly restaurants, where we all indulged in a cocktail or two. Amy had steak, Dawn went for salad and I chose a posh burger. Then we went for more cocktails and a good old dance – by the time it got to midnight we were all ready for our beds!

If you were at Olympia, a big thank you for making our day so special!

Love,

Craig. x.

It was great meeting you, Dawn and Amy at the Craft Show at Olympia and as you have commented the demonstrations were good for inspiration and to network with other craft minded people – hope you will all be at the 2011 show.
p.s I was the person with the JVC camcorder by the way you know the one that you had problems using (tee hee!!)

    Hi Craig
It was great seeing and meeting you, Dawn and Amy at the Craft Show Olympia – the demonstrations were good fun and inspiring I was one of the lucky ones to get hold of a freshly created DB card during the Saturday show and Amy very kindly gave me a QVC signed bear for my poorly three year old daughter.
I hope that you will all be back at the 2011 show – keep up the good work love watching the craft shows on QVC.
    Bye 4 now.

p.s I was the person with the JVC camcorder that you were having problems operating (tee-hee).

Hi Craig, it was nice to meet you at Olympia & have a chat. I was the one who won two of the cards that Dawn made on the show by answering questions. I had a really nice day & hope to see you all again next year, God willing. Keep up the good work. Ann x
