A chuckleworthy blog..

Hi all,

The advent of the iphone at Chez Huntley has produced lots of silly time wasting. 'There's an app for that' is something we seem to hear all the time. For the uninitiated an 'app' is an 'application' for the iphone. It could be a game, an audiobook, or the silly time wasting funnies which we have grown fond of!

My daughter has introduced me to an app which is based on on old school yearbooks..think 'Grease'! Well, I have had such giggles at the pic she produced with it this evening that I had to share it with you!!

Curly me Every time I look at this I laugh & laugh!! Maybe this should be my next hairstyle?

Look out for my next blog as it will be revealing more about Mark Heyes (GMTV's fabulous stylist) and his QVC debut on the 31st. The jewellery IT list! He'll also be debuting his book!

Details to follow but for now enjoy the gigglesome piccy!

Love Catherine x

I just got a new mobile, not an iphone, could not cope with that. It took me 2 hours to figure out where the battery went in my new one!!! The old one that has just died on me, was 4 years old, and I just realised on Sunday that it had a function I didnt even know it had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah well, will get to grips with the new one, EVENTUAllY, but I dont care how long it takes, cos its PINK and SO pretty!!!!!!!!!!
    Take care Catherine

    Hi Catherine
Nothing to do with the blog but how did the exams go and which Uni? I did write on your previous blog last week but pressed something and it all disappeared!(Love Menorca though)
We’ve been away for a week so have some catching up to do. It was the first time we’ve been away and Lexi was fine. We also came back to a cheque to say Ins co.are paying for some of her treatment.
Think you’ve lost loads of weight-hope you’re ok?
    Take care
    Julie xx

    Hi Una,
Ooooh you did make me smile in your message! Too funny. I love the rationale regarding the phone..’it’s pink’!! You sound like someone after my own heart!
I hope you get to grips with it soon but if not at least you have a phone worthy of causing phone envy amongst other girlies.
    Great to hear from you.
    Love Catherine x

    Hi Julie,
Good to hear from you again. Nice to hear you had a break away and things are going as well as can be for dear Lexi. Great news about the insurance. I was so glad Dinkycat had insurance or it would have been thousands for his cataract treatment.
I have lost a bit of weight but this weather makes me want to eat big meals with loads of mash and stodgy puddings!! Where did the summer go?
Thanks for being so lovely and caring. I’m good.
    Lots of love,
    Catherine x

    Hi Catherine
Yep, anything pink, and IM THERE!!!!! I cant help being a girlie, even when Im not trying to be girlie, heyho!!! Having said that, I feel like Ive been living in a blue haze all week. My little grandson decided to grace us with his presence, 3 weeks late!!! So, we have been in every baby boutique in a 30 mile radius. There are just SO many cute little outfits for baby boys theses days.
My granddaughter is only 2, and I remember when we were PILING cute little pink outfits in the basket, thinking, there didnt seem to be so much choice for boys. That all seems to have changed, thankfully. My husband and I had a FAB time, oohing and ahhing. Hes actually worse than me, and nobody got a look in once he got his hands on the wee one!!
Have more baby boy shopping to do!!!!!!!
    Lots of love

hi catherine,I laughed so much at your photo.I have naturally curly hair and when I was about 13 appeared on a tv telethon.so my mam decided i needed a hair cut and that is exactly how it turned out!Everytime i look at that photo of me I just cringe. I looked like I was wearing a curly crash helmet! At least I can laugh now.

Hello.Catherine and happy new year. we just got a digibox yesterday and your show was the first thing we have seen on it,it was amazing to see the clothes actually worn by models which gives one a real sense of their flowing lines etc, rather than just a flat photograph of them,as i was making a cup of tea for my husband and the tv engineer from our local shop in the kitchen, all i could hear them talking about was the “fine pair of legs on the presenter” (no mention of the models) Anyhow i look forward to watching your shows in the future
