This weather we’ve been having since the school holidays began makes you think maybe autumn has arrived already! I’m sure the sunshine will reappear soon and hopefully we’ll enjoy the rest of the summer and hopefully even an Indian summer in September, but at QVC we’ll certainly be thinking ahead to the cooler weather at the end of this week. We’ll be launching the first of our autumn fashion styles with a two day fashion event this Friday and Saturday, 11th and 12th August. Everything will be available with three interest-free Easy Payments to help spread the cost, because we believe all women deserve to look and feel fabulous, regardless of their age, shape, size or budget.
We’ll have a wide assortment of brands offering a huge variety of styles and I’m sure there’ll be something you love!
I will be bringing a taste of what’s to come with my Morning Style show at 10am on Wednesday and I’m delighted that the three Easy Payments will be on offer throughout this show too. Clothes to layer as the weather changes, warmer cover up pieces and plenty of ‘building block’ garments to help create different looks will be on show and I’ve modelled some of them here for you. Thanks to Miceal, who I accosted in the presenter lounge to act as my photographer – he did a great job and didn’t complain once! In fact, his reaction of ‘mmm, nice!’ when I appeared wearing the MarlaWynne angel sleeve ombré top was much appreciated!
The trousers I’m wearing are also from Marla, her straight leg denims with side zip. Lightweight and smart, they go with pretty much everything, which makes them good value on a pence per wear rate.
Other brands I’m showing you in these photos include Denim & Co. which is a range that you’ll only find at QVC and brings easy to wear clothes at great prices.
It’s always good to find some versatile basics like the H by Halston Essentials crew neck top in a gorgeously soft and fluid modal fabric at just over £26. All the reviews for it on our website give it top marks and remember, you can pay just a third to get it home to try.
The last top in the photos is my first from Ruth Langsford’s range, the modern geo print wrap top. It’s perfect on its own but also will work brilliantly under a jacket or cardigan.
There are several other items in the show that I have my eye on, especially the Kim and Co Croco Pleather trousers in petite or regular length – they might be unlike anything you’ve ever worn before but with a first instalment of just £12.32 it’s a great chance to try something a bit different. I might even wear them on Wednesday to see what I – and you – think!
I find having Easy Payments useful in a couple of ways. Either it enables me to buy something I can’t afford in one go – the most expensive thing in the line up is a stunning Amanda Wakeley tote bag for £335 which suddenly becomes more affordable when you can spread the cost. But I also love it when Easy Pay on a low priced item means that the first payment isn’t much more than the price of a cup of coffee – £8.34 won’t make much impact on my bank balance but the bold One Button Big Boutique Beads necklace will certainly be noticed when I’m wearing it!
I hope you can join me to watch the show but if not, click through from here to have a look at some of what’s on the show. You can check out the most recent Morning Style by clicking here , or just search Morning Style on our website.
