Wednesday’s snuggly Northern Nights offer

6

I hope all’s well as we all hurtle towards Christmas – Where are we going? Who are we visiting? What are we eating? What have I still got to buy? I could go on!

Christmas has become a huge part of our year now and as regular viewers will know we start giving you ideas way back in July!

When I first walked through the hallowed marble halls of our old Battersea studios in 1997 – I was amazed to learn that we had a whole days programming devoted to Christmas in July! When you say it out loud it does sound very strange to say the least!

The truth is the tradition started in the US and us Brits embraced it right from the start. For some it’s a great way to get some early inspiration, for others it’s a chance to buy some decorations that might not be readily available at Christmas – whatever the reason it’s a very busy day.

But it’s not July it’s December, and you may probably have noticed we are reminding you on a daily basis just how many QVC Shopping Days left ’till Christmas. Don’t worry – still plenty of time!

This week saw the last show from Andi Peters’ Food Fest – I’ll miss working with AP he brings such a vibrant edge to our programming and seems to delight many of our viewers. Please feel free to leave any comments regarding the series as I sincerely hope we’ll be back next year with more shows.

Midnight Tuesday sees the launch of our brilliant Northern Nights 3-in-1 All Seasons Duvet(s) as Wednesday’s Today’s Special Value, with a minimal quill duck feathers filling that has undergone an 18-step cleaning process leaving them virtually allergen free contained within 100% cotton covers.

I got my hands on it (them) at the weekend and made a short video for you:

I love the concept – it’s very difficult for one duvet to work well through all seasons but this great offering may just do the trick perfectly. Please join myself and Susie Adams at Midnight Tuesday for a great price, and there might just be Easy Pays too 😉

Wednesday also sees me working with the very lovely Tova Borgnine for more than just a festive touch of sparkling Hollywood glamour in the Tova Diamonique collection at 9pm.

Well that’s it for now – until next time stay warm and glittering!

Ha ! I’d be lying if I said Andi didn’t have a loud voice – all those years projecting it ! He’s great to work with and if we return next year I’ll ask him to turn it down a notch 😉 x
