MarlaWynne’s a winner!

If you’re a regular visitor to this blog, you’ll probably have realised that I really enjoy the fashion we have here on QVC.

I’m not a ‘fashionista’ as such, and I certainly don’t embrace extreme catwalk styles – I wouldn’t do them any favours with my five foot five, size 14/16 figure, but I love the feeling when I try on a new outfit and it really works for me.

I get that feeling from one range possibly more than any other – MarlaWynne. I find so much of each new collection has a comfortable and easy, wearable style while also bringing unusual detail and a chic, modern edge. I was the first QVC presenter to work with Marla and got to know her well, although she is now so successful and busy we are often graced by the presence of her right hand woman, fashion journalist Lesley Ebbetts as guest for the brand.

It will be Lesley bringing us the next MarlaWynne Today’s Special Value at midnight on Wednesday 16th November and hopefully we’ll have stock to last through Thursday 17th.

I think it’s gorgeous – a textured ottoman knitted longline jacket that has beautiful detail and comes in five stunning colours.

It’s really a cardigan but it’s so smart and elegant that name wouldn’t do it justice. You can see me wearing the Seagrass option above, but there’s also classic Black or Sand, and also Pearl Heather and Lilac Mist – you’ll have to wait until midnight to see them all!

If it’s not quite your look, there’s plenty more available on our website now… Do join us for one of the MarlaWynne shows on Thursday: midnight, 9am for the Morning Show (for the Today’s Special Value and a new pair of trousers, that I’ve already ordered in two colours) 11am, 1pm and 4pm. There will be lots of new styles to enjoy, and jewellery as well.

Here I’m modelling one of the new tops, in the most beautifully soft fabric that Marla has named Brushed Jasper. It has a simplicity that I like, but also some seaming detail that lifts it above the ordinary. It comes in Latte and Plum as well as the Olive, and there are other styles in the same lightweight but cosy fabric that you can find on our website, such as the sleeveless polo neck and the kimono cardigan. I hope you’re tempted – I know that many people try MarlaWynne once and become hooked – I suppose I should really include a warning that there is a real danger of addiction!

And for a beautifully elegant longer line try this duster jacket – already a bestseller and available now in Plum, Black and Sand. Great over jeans and ankle boots, an evening gown or a shorter shift dress, it can suit so many occasions. Another of my MarlaWynne favourites.

Hope to see you on Thursday,

Take care,

Kathy x

Hi there Kathy, I have just bought a soupmaker and I read one of your blogs about
you buying one from QVC.Can you tell me how you get the stock to thicken,is it the
    blend process that helps?
