Birthdays and a Beautiful Elemis Offer

I hope all’s well with everyone.

Don’t shout too loud but it looks like summer has arrived? As I type sitting in my garden liberally coated in Ultrasun Sport SPF 20 the thermometer reads 32C!

We’ve had a couple of important family birthdays this past week:

First, we celebrated a momentous birthday for my mum as we joined her for a lovely garden party. She enjoyed a wonderful day surrounded by family and friends.

Although the day started with rain it eventually brightened up and we enjoyed a burst of sunshine just as the first guests arrived. My son Jack put together a lovely music playlist which was played out through my Bose Soundlink II portable Bluetooth Speaker – I bought it a year or two from The Q but we have it’s predecessor, The Mk III in stock.

IMG_0473Second, Ellie celebrated her 2nd birthday on the actual day of mum’s party and was presented with a birthday breakfast by Ali. I can’t believe she’s already 2 years old – for those of you who have followed her progress, you’ll remember she was chocolate brown at eight weeks then she gradually went very silver (like her Dad) and now has settled on a beautiful slate, which is probably how she’ll stay for a while? I think Bearded Collies probably go through the biggest coat change of any breed.

Ellie bdayPremium British spa brand, Elemis who celebrated 25 years last, year have a wonderful Today’s Special Value this Sunday. It’s a complete six-piece Top to Toe Skin Rituals Collection with Sweet Orchid Shower Cream, Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, Papaya Enzyme Peel, Smart Cleanse Micellar Water, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Sweet Orchid Body Oil and floral bag. I hope you can join the lovely Keeley Aydin and myself at 5pm this Sunday!

My whole family enjoy Elemis – I use the Anti-Fatigue Day Cream for Men and Jack shaves with the Ice Cool Foaming Shave Gel. We have them as a duo complete with a wash bag!

I’ll be in touch later this week with a “Foody” blog feature.

Till next time stay cool and keep moisturised!
