QVC have a longstanding relationship with the fantastic charity Breast Cancer Care, which supports men and women through every stage of breast cancer, from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. From selling a range of special items online, to hosting bake sales, raffles and more in the building, we love to get involved and raise money for a charity that gives so much to people living with breast cancer and we know that you love to help as much as you can too!
Every year, Breast Cancer Care hosts their fabulously fun Pink Ribbonwalks which consist of a 5, 10 or 20 mile sponsored walk around some of the UK’s most beautiful areas, with the promise of free snacks along the way and a hot meal, medal and goody bag once you’ve crossed the finish line.
You may remember that our very own team have taken part over the years, with Jackie Kabler, Dale Franklin and Miceal Murphy leading the way, joined last year by the beautiful Lisa Snowdon and a willing bunch of QVC employees.
We think the Pink Ribbonwalks are such a brilliant way to raise money for a charity that helps people living with breast cancer every step of the way and we’d love for you to get involved if you haven’t already.
There’s still time to join in with the walks at Stourhead in Wiltshire on Saturday 11th June, as well as the exciting Glasgow at Night on Saturday 25th June and London at Night on Saturday 9th July. All you need to do to register is head to Breast Cancer Care’s website, choose your venue and pay your £30 registration fee. So grab your trainers, don your finest pink outfit and prepare to see the sights in aid of a fantastic cause!
