Gardens, Dyson and a very special necklace…

2

Hi all, hope you had a great Bank Holiday and enjoyed our Summer Garden event!

I absolutely loved the three-hour Grand Finale, which was great fun. The only thing that was missing was the delectable Richard Jackson but as he had been on every single hour that day, we joked that I’d popped him in the potting shed for a rest!

However I did have many of our experts on with me including Micheal Perry from Thompson & Morgan, David Pontin from Hayloft Plants, and the lovely Lorna, who brings us the stunning Bernini water fountains!

Have a look at Bernini online, they really are superb water features that don’t require any wiring in and they are not dependent on solar power either, so if you have always fancied a water feature in your garden it couldn’t be easier. They have a really powerful battery housed inside and one charge will give you around two months of performance. The fountains are designed in California and QVC is the only place in the UK that you can get them.

Also if you are as confused as me when choosing plants and bulbs for your garden from garden centres, QVC have that covered too. As well as Thompson & Morgan and Hayloft, QVC also team up with de Jager, Mont Rose of Guernsey and Plants2Gardens to bring you the best the gardening world has to offer. Not only do we get some great deals but all the hard work is done, with QVC selecting the best performing species every time – some of which are even grown to order just for us.

photo (3) eTalking of ‘just for us’, Dyson will be back at midnight on Saturday night with an incredible Today’s Special Value offer on their V6 vacuum cleaner! Now anyone will tell you I am a huge Dyson fan (I even own a Dyson fan, haha!) but the V6 has become my all time favourite.

It’s cordless but so powerful. I use it each and every day – and sometimes several times a day, I think I must have the messiest family alive! I would seriously recommend every home to have one. It’s a real investment in home cleaning and you gain back so much time, plus being able to switch to the handheld is so easy and to vacuum the stairs is a dream. I used to put off doing the stairs for as long as I could (my second worst household chore, ironing being the first) but now my stairs have never been so clean!

Now before I rush off one more thing to tell you about Saturday there’s going to be an Honora extravaganza to celebrate 17 years of their gorgeous pearls on QVC UK! Wow, when I hear 17 years it makes me feel quite old, as I can remember handling the pearls during those first shows thinking how incredible they were especially for the price.

The quality of Honora still amazes me and so does Ralph Rossini, who has brings us this glamorous jewellery range from the States.  Not only is Ralph as passionate as ever about his pearls, but as suave and sophisticated too. He simply hasn’t aged one bit (so unfair!). Honora prices start from as little as £15 (maybe even less with some special event prices) but we do have one astounding piece to show you on Saturday.

It’s a truly once in a lifetime piece – and literally too, because we have only one! It’s a magnificent hand-carved strand of sumptuous golden pearls. Priced upwards of £12,000 it’s not in my budget, but it is looking for a new home. What do you think?

See you Saturday,

Jillyx

Hi jilly, happy friday to you on what is supposed to be a sunny few days, dont forget your ultrasun. I also have a dyson and depending on the cost I might buy the tsv for son & daughter in law as due to her having MS it might be lighter than the dyson they have. You enjoy the warm weather and I hope your son & daughter are keeping well, take care x
