Firstly a huge thank you for all your lovely comments on Cassidy’s singing. It meant so much to her (and me) and it was so lovely to have all your support. We are still on our Easter break as the children don’t go back to school until next week but as we are up to our ears in GCSE revision (I think I’m probably doing more revision than my son), we haven’t been up to much, although we did see the Eddie the Eagle film which I loved and we also went to Kidszania at Westfield London which is a brilliant day out for kids. If you are looking for a great day out its definitely worth checking their website.
Luckily I’d worn my new Ryka trainers that day, which was just as well as we were on our feet most of the day. I was definitely going for the new Sports Luxe fashion look which to me means looking sporty but not really breaking a sweat! Anyway Catherine has the Ryka brand coming up in a couple of weeks. There’s not only trainers but a whole clothing range so definitely one to watch out for!
Meanwhile I had a lovely delivery to look forward to. The lovely people at Magniflex asked me if I would love to try out out their gorgeous mattress that will be launching as our Today’s Special Value at midnight on Friday night. Well I jumped at the chance.
I was very impressed with the delivery and how it comes so neatly rolled. Once you unroll it and leave it for a couple of hours it just comes to life. I’m looking forward to my first night’s sleep on it tonight and I’ll let you know on air and on Twitter how I get on. One things for sure, our little puppy Bailey will be going nowhere near it. She has gradually taken over the whole house but I draw the line at the bedroom, that’s definitely my sanctuary and no dogs allowed. Bailey is getting on really well and is such a joy although her new habit is that if anyone new pops round she gets so excited she does a little tinkle – usually over their feet! So if you ever get invited round mine for coffee beware and bring your wellies!
Back at QVC I’m just loving all the new summer fashion that is pouring in. A little bird told me that I came top in the poll on the lunchtime show last week for style. I’m not sure how that happened but thank you for your votes, you made an old girl very happy!
To be honest I always go with what I feel comfortable in. I like to try new colours and styles and I do keep an eye on what’s current and in fashion but feeling comfortable is top of the list for me. When I browse our fashion on the website I always look at the New Arrivals section. On the new iPad app, which is so fast and easy to use, just go to the fashion section and then select ‘What’s New’ and it takes you straight to everything that has just arrived into our warehouse, sometimes it won’t have even been on air yet so you will definitely be ahead of the game.
As for me I have been wearing a lot of H by Halston recently and also MarlaWynne who has some lovely pieces this season, plus my staples of Yong Kim and Together. Oh and don’t miss Midnight on Monday night I’ll be launching a fabulous Today’s Special Value offer from Attitudes by Renee, see you then.
