Beauty Weekend highlights and wildlife walks

It’s full steam ahead this week at The Q with enthusiastic crowds attending the QVC Beauty Bash, Diamonique Week in full flow and culminating in the Beauty Weekend! Don’t worry if like myself you didn’t make the Beauty Bash, we’ll be joining many of the stars from the Bash live on air over the weekend.

Diamonique week officially launched on Monday with Charlie and Pipa and I get the honour of presenting the Finale on Friday with Chloe. I’ve never presented a jewellery hour with Chloe before so just about anything could happen? Hope you can join us for the 2 hours starting at 5pm. I can’t say too much but amongst the stunning pieces there is one that’ll be offered at the lowest ever on-air price!

Then in a quick turnaround, I return bright and early at 9am on Saturday with the “New In Beauty” show, forming part of our sparkling Beauty Weekend.

The show features the brilliant Perricone MD Skincare Today’s Special Value with the lovely Karra Beck. This is the first 5 piece collection offered at a Today’s Special Value price, called The Ultimate Youthful Skin Solution! Containing the Nutritive Cleanser, Cold Plasma, No Foundation Foundation Serum, DMAE pads and Face Finishing moisturiser! The saving is hooooge! Honestly! An amazing price and available in Easy Payments!

The hour also features new brands to the Q in the form of Julien Farel Hair Care, based in New York with a formidable client list we introduce their Vitamin Restore with it’s anti-ageing for hair formula! Also we’ll meet McKenzie Westmore, as she introduces Westmore Beauty Coverage Perfector 2-in-1 foundation. McKenzie is an actress herself and part of the the multi-award winning Westmore Family of Hollywood Make up and Special effects fame!

Lee Harding will drop in to present a wonderful four-piece collection from Q favourite brand – Philosophy, and EGO co-founder Kala Kilshaw-Lang will be unveiling an Alter EGO and Little EGO offering at a great price!

It’ll be busy, busy, busy – so set your alarm clock and join us all at 9.00 this Saturday. I’ll then be back at noon with a fragrant hour of the Molton Brown collection.

As I mentioned last blog I’ve been on Lunchtime Show duty and loving every minute of it! I hope you are too? Join in the fun or set your recorders every weekday at 1pm for a panel of lovely guests and the show will always feature the day’s Today’s Special Value offer and the now-infamous LunchQ competition. The lucky winners could respectively win up to £75 of Q credit each day!

We haven’t had much snow at home but a little fell last Sunday . It had mostly melted by the time I went out with Ellie and Toby – they had been groomed earlier last week – but that didn’t stop them enjoying themselves in a local bog! I love them to look clean and fluffy but I also want them to be allowed to be real dogs. Tracey saw my point of view… eventually! I’ve included a short bit of slow motion footage of them.

I also spotted a young Roe Buck last Tuesday who was in the process of re-growing his antlers. I just caught him before he spotted the dogs and bounded off.

Until next time stay beautified and well exercised !
