Happy New Year to all readers! Out with the old and in with the new! Hopefully they’re not talking about presenters!
I spent part of my New Years Eve with a “hug” of bears! I’ve included the picture taken on set – it does look like the opening of ‘Jackanory’. If you are wondering, it’s a Charlie Bears dog “pooch” on my lap not a bear.
I then went onto a fun hour of Diamonique with my pal from across the Irish sea, Miceal. This gave me just enough time to get home and see in the New Year with Tracey. We missed the London Eye fireworks on the telly but I’m told they were the best ever!
Yes, 2016 sees me entering my 19th year at The Q and it’s set to be busier than ever.
The Lunchtime Show returns this week and I’m delighted to be part of the show once again. It’s an enjoyable format to present and from your feedback, enjoyable to watch. There have been some very minor tweaks but it remains in essence the same with our panel of guests and two hosts having a good chat about the items on offer and our fun competition.
On Saturday I’m part of Richard Jackson’s Gardening launch at midday. That’s a real sign that the New Year is here as we look ahead to warmer and hopefully drier months and eagerly await our green-fingered pre-ordered deliveries.
Sunday brings another opportunity to hear room filling life-like sound from aural experts, Bose, who will host our Today’s Special Value in the form of the new Bose Wave IV Music System and inner ear headphones. Our guest Ashley gets to see the reaction of customers in the flagship London store he manages and you get the chance to try Bose products in your own home, as they are offered with UK P&P included. I have a number of Bose products in my home and they certainly helped fill it with festive music this Christmas passed.
If 2015 was a good year for you I hope 2016 continues in that vein; if 2015 wasn’t so kind, then I hope this year brings all that you hope for.
Until next time stay well and warm and positive !
