A year has whizzed by with this exciting new brand, and It Cosmetics have certainly delivered some products that are incredibly unique, and have outperformed my expectations – even as a make-up artist and a qualified skin expert! I get a real buzz when I discover some new ‘must own’ personal favourites for my own regime, as well as a great brand to recommend to all of you.
Certainly one of my favourites during the summer months is Bye Bye Redness. If you have fair-to-medium skin that suffers from broken capillaries, ruddiness or rashes, then this is the perfect partner. A matte mousse texture that applies effortlessly over your chosen SPF, this was my favourite combination last summer and will be using again at home this year.
Another fave is the Full Coverage SPF50+ CC Cream, a really quick and easy product. I love the sumptuous, creamy but non-greasy texture and the fact that, unlike any other CC cream I’ve ever tried, the coverage is buildable and long lasting – including some great anti-ageing and skincare ingredients like collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamins etc.
Plus, I love the smell! It smells of fruity orange when you apply it and, whether you apply with a brush, or I like to apply with fingers first to enjoy the cream texture, it does make your skin look younger and more supple and dewy. If you wish to use it as a base and layer up other makeup on top, even from other brands – that works too.
The Hello Lashes Mascara gives fantastic quick and easy definition which layers up really well for drama. You can even build it up later on in the day without it feeling crunchy, yet it stayed put for me even through sweat or watery eyes from skiing or horse riding and the rain outside on the farm. It also removes really easily with any of our cleansers.
I have been pleasantly surprised with their skincare through my trials, as I have had some very allergic and sensitive skin conditions this winter and their Confidence in a Cream Moisturiser has been fantastic! It’s comforting, calming and anti-ageing without causing a flare up.
Bye Bye Undereye offers brilliant coverage for any dark circles, and is also great on the lids as a primer and base for eyeliner or mascara. You can still use it on other parts of the face for fuller coverage. or anyone that has breakouts, this gives a matte, opaque coverage that you will be thrilled with.
I would love to hear from you about your It Cosmetics favourites and, as the only retailer in the UK, watch out for more launches as we fill up your make-up bag with more beauty secrets.
